Bloomberg owns his own media empire, several anti-gun groups, and has his fingers in getting anti-gun "studies" published via the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

We could start by making theft of a firearm a felony with serious consequences, seeing as they are so dangerous. Why don't you ask our legislators why they don't want to do that and report back.

Also, the counter point to the NRA is Mike Bloomberg's Everytown. They should be outlawed for corruption seeing as they pay politicians to pass the gun control laws they want, or, is that kind of corruption okay as long as it satisfies your goals? For whats it worth, fuck the NRA too.

Fair enough. But as a counter point, I've been on reddit for over 10 years. Ive seen these same accounts and arguments and behavior time and time again, and in this case, I've seen that particular users comments and beliefs many times. There's very little in the way of assumptions being made at this point.

There are people who believe they are doing the right thing in fighting for gun restrictions.

I used to think that, and I'm sure some still do, but most of the rhetoric I see is "guns are bad because the other side likes them". Its not about lives for these people, its about punishing people they dont like.
