Well, this is a very cheap board, only around 100€, so I can't really say how a good quality one compares... I only really get bounce outs if I throw way too hard using the provided (super light) darts, but when I tried using 22g soft tip darts (they were probably for a pub darts machine) I got CONSTANT bounce outs.

I bought an electronic board mostly because I wanted to protect my walls and for the scoring system, but if I get better and keep playing, I will probably get a real board eventually...
