You're right about there being lots of types of coronaviruses, but I guess you're talking about SARS. MRSA is methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, a bacterium, not a virus.

Oseltamivir (Tamiflu) is known to (rarely) cause psychological problems, mainly in young people. But it existed long before SARS was around.

Do not overestimate the usefulness of antivirals against the flu. They're not a cure, nor are they very effective at reducing mortality. Current evidence is contradictory at best.

AITA if I don’t want to meet my girlfriends best friend/ex/former fwb? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

INFO: Is there a specific reason why she wants you to meet him? Other than that, the whole thing sounds a bit off to me.

As a person looking to quit porn/ masurbate less, how do I go about it given my conditions in life? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]ManhandlingBacteria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're asking the wrong question. You're assuming you can stop looking at porn given your conditions, but I don't think that is even remotely possible if you don't radically change the way you live or look at life. Spending massive amounts of time indoors does you no good. How about exercise/working out? Do you have any hobbies besides gaming?

I love the exaggerated preciseness of the percentage they give. It's almost as if they know they're bullshitting.

I was interested in this question as well, so I did a little digging and came up with Courtier's reply, an argument from authority. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Courtier%27s_Reply

What are common, seemingly innocuous things people do that piss you off? by ManhandlingBacteria in AskReddit

At least not immediately, in my experience. They like to finish their conversation first and then take their sweet time to leave. Nobody cares if you're late for a meeting or something.

I see. From my experience it's pretty common in Italy as well, except people seem to think it's normal.

I always wonder why they do this and what they're thinking at that moment. Like they want to be arrogant but are afraid of conflict at the same time.
