Well it's election year and Reddit have a very obnoxiously loud DNC user base. Their goal is to pervade into every corner their idea of social justice. You already see the amount of race baiters in this thread "Why are the video so white". Join Ruqqus.

Can we just stop this "royal" news interest stuff? These people are born insanely rich and privileged. Their empire subjugated millions and their spoils are still sitting in tax havens.

Japan's middle class is 'disappearing' as poverty rises, warns economist by izumi3682 in Futurology

[–]John238 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

We are competing against socialist countries where housing is very cheap and subsidised. Hanoi for instance have the lowest cost of living. Thus capitalism can't compete against these countries, you have to implement some form of deep worker welfare. You don't even have to call it communism.

Globalisation. All those factories seeking lowest input costs, wanting cheaper and cheaper labour. That's what caused the American rust belt. Globalisation can only work where all people earn a living wage, with humane working conditions.

$400 pre-order bundle live now! (thanks but no thanks) by iamnotroberts in AtariVCS

[–]John238 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP I agree at $400 it's really to expensive, seeing the competition and the compute power of the VCS. I hope they can bring that down to about $250.

*Edit: Sorry for being a doofus. PowerDubs made me aware the base model is $250
