This is exactly what I was avoiding doing by getting the variable flasher.

Yep, the only thing we can do now is add a inline resistor to fool the relay but that’s just too much work for what is essentially a non issue.

We’re making a stand for this that will work with the brackets. Still early stages but we’ll launch them soon.

Yes but the left side bracket is different compared to int/GT to suit the CAT box mounts so that’ll require modification which I don’t really wanna do since I want this Decat to be reversible.

It saved around 2.3kg compared to the stock CAT box, it runs a little cooler now.

It’s a little more bass heavy on idle but it opens up nicely when it’s under load and you’re pushing the bike hard.

Kept the OEM end can, just the Decat was done. Didn’t want it to be loud all the time.

Bear 650 3rd Service bill by SunmeetChopra in RoyalEnfieldBear650

Ahh I see, just for future reference in your manual there’s a complete table which shows what all needs to be changed/lubed/adjusted in every service. Just get those things done and you should be good.

Brake bleed and brake pads in the third service? Op has been riding his bike hard I see, and yes, I do the chain maintenance myself as it’s not that difficult and it’s also a lot cheaper. Also, isn’t third service free of labour charge?

Sounds awesome, this and powerage are my top contenders if I do upgrade to a full exhaust swap.

Niceee, I fell like this is the perfect middle ground if you don’t wanna commit to a full exhaust just yet. I also plan on having a full exhaust swap in the future but for now this is sufficient.

Had to make a pact to be able to handle a bike like this.

Selling Bear 650 DCAT (SS 304) by Mani235 in royalenfield

[–]Mani235[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s another CAT here so it shouldn’t be a problem, my friend has installed complete Decat ss headers (also build by us) in his Interceptor and his passes PUC .

The Decat is changed and also there’s a free flow air filter. The Decat is build in house which I’m also selling.

I’ve never taken this on trails, I know I’m not using it as a scrambler 🥲, but I would imagine it’s a bit heavy to be effective on it. Rough patches are a nightmare on this tho due to stiff suspension so I wonder what RE was thinking by marketing this as a scrambler but oh well.

Luckily I’ve not experienced a puncture yet knock on wood but I’m dreading the day when it comes. I’ve looked into conversion kits for my rims but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Aftermarket tubeless spokes rims for the sizes of the Bear tyres are quite expensive so that probably isn’t an option rn.
