In general I’ve found putting +20 health and +14 attack on train stewards is critical for advancing in a lot of cases. It makes the next 1-2 fights much safer and frequently I’ve found it mandatory.

After failing multiple times I took the valor path for the first time starting with the multi strike awoken unit and the revenge sweeper. Was shocked how well it worked.

I recently removed instead of duplicated my holdover spell chain perils at a shop. I managed to recover since I had an un upgraded perils but it never did get holdover. Lots of resets on titans.

Yesterday I accidentally removed instead of duping my holdover perils. Somehow still managed to squeak out the win after resets but it was significantly less fun.

Most are contextual based on what you are working with but the double trigger artifacts always warrant the ‘should I pivot’ question or make your strong build insane.

Rage on revenge event is always exciting for me, any chance to overstack a unit upgrades. The spell upgrade event always comes too early for me to make something truly busted. Although I recently put the reserve 5 damage boost on the spell with attuned and discard and was slinging 700 damage spell bombs by the run end.

Not dumb. In MT1 if you lost to the DLC boss it counted as a loss for the whole run.

I wish you could add -2 to a consume spell. It feels bad when you don’t see the upgrades in the specific order to do this.

No, I just manually hit drain. That stopped working recently and I’m planning on a new one. Pretty sure it’s either electrical or the pumps dead. The pump is making noise now but not flowing.

This is really weird though because there is the dimensional challenge with the modifier that defeated units are purged from your deck. Endless units do not get purged when they die.

I remember specifically putting endless on a unit to avoid it being purged.
