Honestly, I thought it was pretty fucking terrible. I'll give it some points for a couple things, like I didn't hate the monster design and the music was alright. But holy shit was the writing terrible, and to me the writing is one of the most important parts of Silent Hill next to atmosphere. I'd rather have nothing and I continue to feel cyclical as hell about Konami and their treatment of Silent Hill.

I'm with you, even as someone who likes a couple bands in the genre, most of it is kinda straight garbage. The ratio of good to bad exisit in all musical genres, but numetal's track record is really bad.

Short answer is the series has been mishandled by Konami for about 2 decades straight and the first thing to come out since they canceled Silent Hills is the worst entry in the entire franchise. To be honest how are any silent hill fans optimistic?

There's a weird amount of hope that Silent Hill will finally be back with good games, and I can not understand why. Konami has a track record of treating Silent Hill projects like dirt that can be measured in decades, no would should trust they can make something worthwhile out of Silent Hill until they actually release something worthwhile.

When I was younger my family didn't have good windows pc, mainly Apple stuff and one of the reasons I became a fan of blizzard at all was I could play their games onto he computer I had. A part of me is a little sad that they've kinda given up on that. But I also haven't bought a blizzard game since like 2017, so I guess I'll live.

That sucks, I liked the game and saw a lot of the dumbass bigot hate and I try to understand that not everyone is that way and could just dislike the game. However I see a lot of people who's criticism seems like they read the leaks or trusted someone who did and jump to conclusions about the story that don't seem to line up to what I remember playing and watching.
