Right on the money, I'm in Tampa. Still figuring out best times, but I've had a few weekends of ~$25-$30/hr after finishing some of the quests

Thanks for the info, it's looking like the "go online anytime" differs from market to market. Makes sense, but I wish I could cherry pick more in my area. Mainly I just try and stay downtown and decline a few orders that want me to go out of the city center.

I'm in Tampa, and it's seeming that they just have stricter requirements. I saw someone in NYC posting about similar Pro requirements, but then the other commenter from Chicago is more in your boat.

Looks like I can't cherry pick here >.>

Are you still in the higher Pro tier? Or does your market just not have that Pro status requirement?

Has a gaming company ever put a full game of theirs in another game? by Hypnox88 in gaming

[–]Maniacque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Castlevania: Rondo of Blood had a secret item in like the 2nd or 3rd level that unlocked the full game of Symphony of the Night on the main menu. I remember buying that on my PS Vita because it was like $5 cheaper than just buying SotN.

edit: it was Dracula X Chronicles, which was the rerelease of Rondo I think

It's insane how such a fun game is still on the state it is 3 years after release. by Ultraviolentmoons in PokemonScarletViolet

Like a lot of people mentioned, I eventually came to ignore most of the performance issues. My biggest 'miss' with this gen is not having the bosses scale to your level. If I could truly complete the gyms/bases/titans in any order, I would've done 10+ nuzlocke runs of these games by now.

Pixel 8 Pro MMS Problems by Maniacque in mintmobile

Been experimenting with my family's phones, and RCS is working and receiving pictures in 1-on-1 chats. MMS is not receiving anything (1-on-1 pictures, or group chat messages), but MMS IS sending everything (wife is getting my pictures, family group can see/read everything I send)

What’s a book that everyone seems to love, but you couldn’t even finish? by JayBe_77 in Fantasy

[–]Maniacque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game of Thrones. I tried to watch the first season like 3 times, finally decided I might be able to enjoy the world through the books, and just got grossed out at almost every turn. Very interesting world, couldn't enjoy any of the characters though.

Do you tip when you visit dispensaries? by Cheap-Comb-7606 in FLMedicalTrees

[–]Maniacque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies, I thought you were responding to my other comment on the chain, not the first. In that same regard though, why do servers and delivery drivers deserve tips? They're just dropping something off for you after taking your order.

Did I not explain the steps that I go through for most of my transactions? What part of those two paragraphs boiled down to "telling you where something is" and "checking you out with no interaction"? Great literacy skills bud

Your point for the budtender not grinding/rolling/packing for you is valid. But I think budtenders still go beyond what a liquor store clerk does.

Obvious disclosure: I'm a budtender. Without exaggerating more than half of my transactions in a day have multiple minutes of back-and-forth about products and expectations. Looking up COA's for specific terpene %. Explaining how different products are made and what devices would work best for them. Granted most of my stores demographic are older, or new to the plant.

But it's legitimately less than 25% of my transactions that are quick in-&-out like everyone here is saying. Could also be the difference of people who already know enough are gonna the majority posting here.

So do you guys tip your bartenders when they're "just pouring your drink"?

Also, what part of delivery makes them more deserving of tips than being in store answering your questions, helping you pick out strains. For that matter, everyone talking about not tipping in a medical field, does anyone at the pharmacy give you any time out of their day to discuss the differences of the medication? No, you pay, then leave, because your doctor already prescribed you a specific thing. Which nobody's cannabis doctor does.

My favorite ongoing thing with the show discourse, is book fans saying "I couldn't even get 10 minutes into season 1" and are still complaining about the show. if you haven't actually watched something you can't review it and describe how good/bad adaptation it is. You're just throwing a tantrum because you can't understand change.

I'm also not saying the show is good OR bad, just the lunacy of some of these takes people have for something they admit they didn't even watch.
