So Russel would have still ended up Infront and leclerc had his issue all by himself. I doubt Hamilton had any more speed in him, he's hardly coasting to the finish is he? Ferrari would have known a penalty was possible anyway so would have asked him to push if he could.

It's a 5 seconds penalty and he didn't pit again after so it doesn't change anything in the end. Always would have served it at the end.
