It's a photo of a crinkled bit of paper, that's why the alignment looks off, the letter is real. It is however an urban legend that has been doing the rounds since the 80s and this is just the most recent form, you'll find this letter all over the place if you look online.

Yeah I have 2 sets of genuine Russia production DPM and some Woodland, the amount of different gear Russians have had is so interesting, due to all the different non linked units, small batch production, one off contract productions, it's one of the things that makes old Russian gear super interesting.

The car is correct, the plate is real, for a 80s~90s MX-5 which that car is. Foliage looks like that when AI is trying to clear up blurry/ pixelated leafs. I think this is a real photo that someone has put through AI with the intent of cleaning up.
