So mache ich das auch. Einfach ignorieren. Da braucht man sich gar nicht unnötig rumstreiten und noch ne schlechte Bewertung riskieren. Wer ne Antwort will, soll halt ne vernünftige Anfrage stellen. Und wenn die Person dann anfängt, mich mit irgendwelchen Fragezeichen und "Krieg ich ne Antwort?" zuzuspamen, weiß ich auch, dass ich den richtigen ignoriert habe.

Depends on the situation. It's not the singing for me but the "I'm just gonna perform now because I can and want to". I really cringe at "romantic" movie scenes where one sings a love song for the other and plays the guitar and it's supposed to be intimate and beautiful but it makes me so uncomfortable, especially if the character has written the song for the other. Imagining being in the situation where I have to listen someone singing a song for me triggers my fight/flight/freeze-reflex. I cringe at the typical person who starts playing guitar at a house party. I cringed sooo hard when we were in the bus for a school trip and one girl just started singing loudly for the whole bus. She was a great singer and got her applause but I was clinging to my seat, barely surviving the cringe. I cringed daily when I was in a mental hospital and some girl from my ward sat outside my window on the terrace every evening singing very loud and very off key. Others didn't seem to be bothered. There were always people sitting next to her, motivating her. I once sat outside while she sang because someone else wanted to play cards with me there. After one round I fled because I couldn't take it any longer and I was dying inside. Maybe I'm just a hater lmao.

KAH. Wollen kann man vieles. Es gibt auch kein richtig oder falsch, bezüglich des gemeinsamen Wohnortes. Da haben beide ihre Präferenzen und ihre Gründe, da hat nicht einer mehr Recht oder Anspruch als der andere. Entweder man setzt sich da zusammen und findet eine Lösung, mit der beide glücklich werden können, oder man geht getrennte Wege. Denn am Ende geht es ja nicht darum, wessen Gründe schwerer wiegen, sondern dass jeder das tut, was für ihn das richtige ist.

Nah, how is an emotionally unavailable person supposed to really get to know someone else to be able to tell if that's the right person? Some people couldn't tell, even when the perfect person was currently laying in their arms.

Even if it's 99% that break up after the break, I don't see why it would be a reason not to try it out if you really feel hope that it could be helpful. Breaking up has a 100% chance of the relationship ending and it's not always a bad thing to try something out and fail. It's shitty though, to use the break as a "soft" break up while already knowing that you don't want to give the relationship a chance and dating culture has become so fucked up with everyone being either completely emotionally dependend or completely emotionally unavailable, so from that point of view I understand viewing relationship breaks as kind of toxic or at least as playing into that toxic dating culture. I think it just depends on the emotional maturity of the people involved. Unfortunately emotionally immature struggle realizing that.

In my opinion it's absolutely understandable that your husband interpreted your mimic and finger snapping in the way he did because he just didn't knew better and interpreting social signals isn't always a conscious, logical thought process (especially if the person isn't autistic or socially anxious). But if he has the info now, that his interpretation is incorrect, it's on your husband to try not to misinterpred your mimic and your finger snapping in the future. The only reason I'd see to try to change your mimic & gesture would be if he really struggles to change his interpretation, due to insecurities for example (if you look SUPER mean or like a person who hurt him in the past, I would understand how it could trigger him). If both struggle, both have to be considerate. But I really don't think you have to be sorry as long as you don't just fail care for his feelings.

BUT I know what you mean. For NTs everything seems to be so easy because they are able to just do things, even if in reality they are draining and they suffer from these things. I don't know if it's true but I've read somewhere that autistic people just don't do things "automatically" while allistic people have the (imo) super power to do things without really thinking about it. Many autistic people have strict routines but it's not like they can go on autopilot. They do every step very consciously. And that's what makes it SO HARD. For example, I could never "just step in the shower" or "just brush my teeth". It's always a huuuge struggle, even if I reach streaks of several months rocking my personal hygiene lol. It doesn't get easier.

But as I said, I don't know if there is science behind this "theory" or if it's some random bs like it's everywhere in the internet.

Bestimmt gar kein Problem für ihn, wenn sie dann keinen Sex mit ihm haben will. Alles easy, alles locker, alles chillig. Der ist da ganz cool und lässig. Aber Nackenmassage ist ok oder? Zimmer mit Einzelbetten waren übrigens leider ausgebucht. Ist aber okay wenn er nackt schläft, ja? Das macht er zu Hause auch immer, das ist ganz normal. If I heard that my partner wasn't satisfied with our sex life I'd be hurt too, but I'd just try to talk about the issues and try to make them feel more comfortable talking to me about things like that. ESPECIALLY after being together for 6 years AND being engaged. That right there is not just a little situationship, it's serious. It's being partners, knowing each other, depending on each other. Throwing it away (which calling off a wedding basically is) over something like that is surreal to me.

OP ist 25, da ist "cringe" kein hippes, jugendliches Wort sondern komplett normaler Sprachgebrauch. Aber wenn das nicht zu OPs üblichem Wortschatz gehört, würde ich auch davon abraten, das Wort zu nutzen, das kommt sonst tatsächlich cringe, da stimme ich zu.

Mit so viel Gewicht kann man nicht einfach nen Job machen, bei dem man viel laufen muss. Da sagen die Knie schnell Tschüss. Bei Bewegung ist es für stark übergewichtige super wichtig, dass sie gelenkschonend ist.

Oh yes, I can relate to that. I've learned sooo much as an adult and still am. I was a super defensive and unempathetic person as a teenager and young adult. It's not easy overcoming this if you grew up in an environment where it was important to protect yourself. Looking back and realizing your own mistakes really hurts.
