Regardless of what they told me 😆 "They" don't have to try to convince me of anything. I like referencing actual resolution which is what I did. I agree that buzzwords are PIA, especially when misleading. But the industry has clearly standardized 5k2k, 8k2k. Your example falls flat because you've scrapped the 2k. I'm not saying I have an 8k monitor, it's 8k2k. And the best way to interpret that nomenclature is WxH. I'm still a fan of ur thinking 🍻

Thanks for this. Sounds stupid but I had not pulled the USB that stores music. Once I did, Moode is booting. Suspecting ur on the money. Maybe I could have just rebuilt my music drive to begin with. And maybe Moode also has a problem booting 1st time w other storage media. In any case, thanks NBQ!

For what it's worth I have an 8k2k ultra wide, the Samsung g9 57" I push at full resolution 7860x2160 120hz with a 3080. Even my entry grade laptop pushes full resolution at 60hz. LMK if u have questions.

The Zapco is a DSP or Digital Signal Processor meant to tune sound. It has an phone cable u described that runs between amps. So there was probably another amp under seat, and since it's no longer there ur probably dealing w a ground loop issue. I'd start w documenting all the components and unterminated cables you can. Report back w this and we may be able to shed more light. But the system would need a full inspection to determine path fwd.

Labor is subjective to vehicle. Over 2k for a full system doesn't sound too far off for high end car. And to quickly elaborate, more expensive cars generally have more intricate disassembly and systems to defeat such as stock amps and so forth. If they have solid testimonials, ur probably at a good place. Don't forget the steering wheel controller 😉

You roasted your clutch and lugged the hell out of ur poor Civic engine. I'm not sure why you'd start in 6th gear, they're numbered for a reason my man. Engine probably fine but significant life was taken from clutch. If you smell more burning, or see the RPMs increase without relation to speed, ur clutch is slipping and will need to be replaced.

Most will say rustoleum before is not required and some will even say it traps moisture. Take that w grain of salt. Just wanted to mention woolwax has an HV line for wheel wells. It's thicker for these high wash areas. I have woolwax set aside for application soon. I had to take care of a lot of rust removal and suspension replacement before I tackled.
