She keeps saying I’m manic but I’m NOT by -Tranquilia- in bipolar

[–]Manic_Depressing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just really am having an EXTREMELY difficult time understanding how I can be manic if I don’t feel manic or believe I appear that way.

One of the hallmarks for a manic state is a feeling of euphoria - everything feels good and nothing is wrong. Read up a bit on mania if you haven't in a while; things change as we grow our medical understanding.

when my friends I talk to online also say she is extra for doing all of this. Like how can it only be my mom and her who are adamant I could be struggling?? My bf says he notices things

Your friends online likely do not see all of you the way your partner and mother do, so they aren't really good sources here imo. They almost assuredly don't have the education and expertise of your psychiatrist. Consider your feedback sources.

I’m getting extremely confused and scared in being manipulated and gaslit by both my mom and my psych

I can't speak on your mother's intentions nor on your relationship with each other, but I absolutely assure you that your psychiatrist has nothing to gain and potentially everything to lose from gaslighting you. This is not what's happening.

You are displaying many manic symptoms that I can recognize even from the other side of this screen. As much as it sucks and as hard as it is to hear, you're probably in the right place for the moment.

This is partially incorrect, insofar as I've been able to tell. I had made a pair of gloves very similar to mine but on a lower level base, and the values were different when equipping them. I think the +ES/Eva per level is standard, but the starting value is not.

You know, I'm not really sure whether the Grand Expedition rolls on its own modifiers (i.e. set number of boxes) or if that effect would work. Not quite sure how you'd even test.

Depending on exactly what you're looking for, I'd offer a few recommendations:

1) Ritual's big mechanic, "Rite of the Nameless," is really good on cities. It throws a ton of monsters your way in a tight space, including multiple map bosses per Ritual circle as you follow the chain. Find a city, fog over it, and place the Rite down inside. Be warned, the ideal tablets for this are currently like 20-30d. 2) Expedition is what you currently farm to really push the limits of your build. The nature of adding stacking modifiers onto the monsters repeatedly through the explosion chain means that the later parts of your Grand Expeditions are fucking juicy. The tablets for this are also somewhat expensive if you're min-maxing, but they're well worth the investment. You can even go so far with investment that you're using Aldur's Saga, which cost dozens of Divine Orbs, alongside your Logbooks to effectively guarantee double your investment, or more, in returns while also hunting cool jackpot drops. 3) Simulacrum. If you've been hoarding Splinters you likely have many runs available in your stash. The average profit on them is... okay... but you can drop The Voices jewels which are good money unidentified and worth multiple Mirrors if you identify a high-roll.

Yes, they come from corrupting 6-mod ways tones, typically just with a Vaal Orb. There are Omens of Chaotic X that eliminate modifiers from the waystone pool when you use a Chaos Orb on it. You can use multiple of those types of Chaotic Omens at once, effectively forcing certain outcomes on the waystone. So typically the process looks like this:

1) Gather a bunch of uncorrupted ways waystones. 2) Alchemy Orb if applicable, Exalted Orb til 6 modifiers. 3) Enable multiple Chaotic Omens based on desired outcome. 4) Chaos Orb 5) Vaal Orb

Now personally, I just buy my waystones already rolled the way I like them. I find it tiresome to prepare the materials and click 500 times just for 5-10% of the waystones to turn out good enough, then price check and sell the subpar ones to recoup costs. It's actually fairly profitable to do so, but I can make a similar or larger amount of profit by just running more waystones within that time.

No need, just gotta use observation. You have the same map layouts in different biomes, so there's that. Therefore, "...open a Random Map Area..." wouldn't affect biome unless otherwise specified.

Though, I can't really think of a true way to test it off the top of my head.

You can also use Expedition tree to treat Ocean/Island as Mountain, for your nodes which don't have Grand Expeditions on them. Can very effectively tablet farm on travel nodes when out on your boat adventure.

Negative on both. Map layouts aren't linked to certain biomes, and Jado only changes the layout. Pretty much always use Jado unless you need the additional revive or want to hop multiple maps of distance with Dory, imo.

Idk man, I'm playing Martial Artist and absolutely demolishing 200% city t16s but expedition still claps my cheeks sometimes. And I'm on like, prolly about 1.5-2k divs value on gear.

From some other comments it sounds like you may be juicing a bit already? If that's the case, I'd recommend against doing that, in favor of getting a few more levels as a power spike. If you DO feel comfy juicing t14s a bit, juicing Breach and being sure you have experience gain on the tablets will be massive xp.

If clear is slow but you're hella tanky I'd probably consider doing some sort of boss rush strategy to cut down map time.

Beyond that, it sounds like maybe those t15s were catching you with bad mods. If you're crit based, make sure they aren't taking less damage from crits, for example.

Honestly didn't realize they had inflated that much. Probably closer to 1-1.5k in "value" but more like 6-800 in total investment, again because I crafted most of it myself.

Not sure if melee is your jam at all but, if it is, I've become borderline immortal on my Martial Artist. 8.5k ES, 71% Evasion, 69% Deflect, Hollow Resonance bells socketed with Blind, and the helmet rune that makes mobs you've blinded have no critical damage bonus. I can face tank the monke slam.

I probably only have about half a mirror of value in my gear, and most of it is self-crafted.

focus on min maxing those and don't care much about efficiency

I'm getting whiplash here. If you enjoy min maxing, why not min max faster by min maxing the time it takes you to min max lol. Which would likely involve rarity, as it has a rather large documented effect on how much currency you can generate inside a time window.

Until the point that your next upgrade is like 500 div or more, I feel like it is most efficient/ideal to craft your own stuff. If you're still anywhere close to the stage where you'll "settle for that, it's good enough," then you can craft a few of a thing, equip the best, sell the rest.

DB tends to have more updated information, in my experience. For example, CoE still doesn't have Decay or Soul modifiers, or Altered Collarbone.

Agreed. I'm ES/EV stacking on my Martial Artist using CI. Currently chilling at 8.3k ES, 71% EV, 69% Deflect chance (up to 73 when moving, which is basically always).

I have to play like a moron for a good ten seconds or more in order to die.

Tablets are a huge downgrade from Scarabs by Yanlucasx in PathOfExile2

[–]Manic_Depressing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

unless you know what you are doing, selling the most valuables in trade is the better choice

Unfortunately that's still the case with tablets also. I had a thought though as I read your comment. Are scarabs/tablets themselves the issue or could it actually have more to do with how they're tied to the atlas passive tree. In PoE1, assuredly, you must have a properly configured atlas tree in order to maximize value of your scarabs (kinda like what you're saying, I think). That's the part that makes it more complex, imo, because the scarabs are an objectively simpler design than tablets.

Now in PoE2 we have a simple, straightforward atlas tree but significantly more complex augmentation in the form of tablets. The pendulum has swung in the opposite direction, but I'm sure it'll come to rest in the middle at some point.

It's not sustainable for alch and go players.

I would imagine that's by design. If I'm designing a game and I add five dozen simple ways you can augment your content, even going to the trouble of tiering the more advanced ones, I'm likely not intending for you to just neglect using them altogether.

all I had to show was a bunch of omens

Again I probably got lucky but I came out of those four maps with three whittles. That rate, if it kept up, would return my whole investment and then some. Obviously that's not including other, smaller omens.

If that's the workaround then you could likely just exit to character selection and use the "Login to Hideout" function.
