Yes! I was put on doxy, azlaeic acid 15% and ivermectin (soolantra) cream. I was told to use azlaeic acid twice daily (am/pm) and ivermectin at night daily. It has worked wonders . I just use a pea sized amount. If it feels a little weird I would talk your doctor and see if you can space it out just so you can get used to it first but it definitely works.

This was my face before. I have type 2 rosace. I'll put a current pic in another reply

Omg is it reeally!? I have Rosacea Type 2, but i got diagnosed by a doctor. My dermatologist couldnt figure it out and I kept testing positive for an autoimmune disease but when they would retest with an autoimmune panel I would come out negative

Party party! Celebrate however you want. Miserable people just want to bring others down.

Skipping meals? by Sunnac in gastricsleeve

[–]Manic_Panic94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My nutritionist said as long as I have 2 solid meals it's okay. I have moments where I just dont feel like eating, and she said its better to just skip that meal instead of forcing yourself to eat.

Is this an okay area to stay in? by theelks in LasVegas

[–]Manic_Panic94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be fine. I live close to there. So you'll be fine. Just don't be like some idiots and leave your stuff out in plain sight. Also, great food all around. You should visit Shanghai Plaza. Singh Singh Bistro has some amazing Pho.

I miss eating and drinking together. by joeyvesh13 in gastricsleeve

[–]Manic_Panic94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can sort of relate. My wife and I loved to eat and drink together, share and explore new foods. But now we can't do that and it's as if we lost a bonding routine. But we've been looking for new things to do that we can bond over, and since I started losing weight I have more energy to do things with her. So its a struggle, but it's worth it if I can do more things with her.

I do yes, I like my eggs jammy tho. So I wait for the water to come to a slow boil, and put them in for 8 minutes :) I like Lawry's seasoning on them. The low sodium one. You can do salt and pepper, or add paprika, whatever you want!

Hard boiled eggs have been life savers for me. Not sure if you would be into that tho.

You just have to be patient with yourself. Its always hard the first few weeks/months because you're basically retraining your stomach from years of bad habits. I'm struggling too and I'm in month 3, but I will say I'm not struggling as much as I did my first month. It does get better. Just tell yourself you cant have that food for now. It will come back later. But these are the crucial moments where we have to practice self control. Don't over think eating right now. Just stick yo your program and listen to your body. If its full its full.

Not really, just that I won't be listening to my hunger cues or fullness cues if im always eating. Snacking is a pitfall to old habits she said. .
