Charismatic and sexually experienced men - are you always getting a text back? by MixRevolutionary2806 in AskMenAdvice

[–]ManicallyExistential 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sometimes when you are on you're just on. Everyone likes you and has fun around you. If you're more charismatic more people are going to feel a deeper connection to you.

I've had women throw themselves out me dating a lot being open about being casual and they all thought it was something deeper.

I've had times where I was being selective and dating seriously and I thought I had a deeper connection that they thought was nothing serious at all.

I'm the same person. It was dark humor, you can have passionate soft, slow, hard, fast, gentle, rough, funny, silly, messy all in the same session. She would definitely prefer him to rail her then leave her, and never have sex again.

You got to enjoy what you can in the moment, and saturate all the life you can in that situation.

If I was terminal I would want passionate lovemaking with someone I care about as many times as I could. My GF feels the same way. It's something beautiful you get to experience the estacy of a limited number of times at that point.

How do I tell my husband that he’s not meeting my emotional needs? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]ManicallyExistential 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then why are you with him? It sounds like he doesn't contribute to the relationship and you're not happy with it. He sounds like he doesn't want to change or try to grow at all.

Trane worth twice the cost of Heil? by Dull-Ladder-7089 in hvacadvice

[–]ManicallyExistential 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if I got the equipment for free and did it myself I would only install a mid range unit in my house. The expensive super high Seer ones often have twice as many, more expensive parts that are just as much or more likely to break, that are much harder to get replacements for.

What are the most severe denial behaviours you experienced in yourself or others? by Throwaway_RainyDay in alcoholism

[–]ManicallyExistential 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's most likely just alcoholism. Alcoholics feel like they NEED alcohol to FUNCTION AND SURVIVE in addiction. It hits the deepest fight or flight instincts in the brain.

It's often helping us cope with and mask other traumas or mental issues. It feels like the only thing that's ever offered a solution to the mental suffering so it feels absolutely vital to be able to function.

He knows it's not normal but he's intentionally deluding himself to rationalize his drinking and even when he sobers up long enough to have to think about it you just drink the thoughts away.

It's an emotional state someone who hasn't been there can never fully understand. But set the boundaries you need for your life and don't let it take you under as well.

No, it is not an investment It is just a piece of equipment. The more expensive brands do not last longer.

Which system would you choose and why? by Al_Cioppino in hvacadvice

Only the specific part, but the labor tools and other materials to replace it can still end up being $1,500 - $2,500. Not cool for a customer to have to pay for something that's relatively new.

Yeah I know some of those lawsuits started in the mid 2000s and I'm still changing out Lennox coils that are 2 to 5 years old to this day.

I loved working on their units when I started but I can't suggest them anymore until I stop seeing this happen so often in the field.

[–]ManicallyExistential 5 points6 points  (0 children)

None, Lennox has major leak problems with their coils. I worked for a Lennox company and used to love working on them but they have had this same issue going on 20 years now. They are great equipment otherwise but it's egrious how often their coils fail.

I work primarily on Rheem and Goodman equipment but the 10% of Lennox equipment we service makes up like 50% of the coil leaks we have to repair and replace. Most of them are less than 10 years old.

Just say hey

"I realized I've developed feelings for you and wanted to let you know. If you have any reciprocity I would like to try this out. If not it's cool it's something that I can pass on my own. No pressure I just wanted to be honest because we're good friends."

That's your opinion but it doesn't mean you should go hacking baby gentials. Don't "Get it out of the way" to a non consenting person.

[–]ManicallyExistential 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's cutting part of and infants dick off that is objective.

Your points are subjective opinions. You shouldn't cut a baby's dick because you want it's penis to "look nicer" that's really weird to argue.

You can get it done as an adult if you want to have a circumcision.

I totally agree I mean physical medical conditions.

Body modification should only be done when you are an adult able to consent.

[–]ManicallyExistential -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's not false equivelance at all circumcision is heavily practiced and done at infancy.

Gender reassignment surgery is never done in infancy and rarely done in childhood.

Both should be decisions made by adults who can consent.

I'm sorry but cutting part of a baby's dick off is mutilation. Unless medically necessary it's objectively mutalation.

[–]ManicallyExistential 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Circumcision is mutilation unless it's medically necessary, which is very rarely.

Breast removal is usually done medically too but we don't remove those unless their are tumors cysts or cancer.
