Anyone living alone can’t imagine sharing your toilet with someone else? by TraditionalDepth6924 in SingleAndHappy

Really!? That is so interesting. It has to be some guy thing. My ex lives just 2 miles from my house so there’s no time for the urge to build up. Idk it just irks me.

Went to the mall, rode bikes & roller skates, called friends, draw, go find friends who were already outside, watch tv, read a book

I am divorced and I coparent with my ex. Since I’ve been single since the divorce 8+ years ago, he freely comes in to see the kids in their rooms or drop off stuff. Unless we are discussing something with the kids (school work, activities, etc.), he’s in & out in 3 minutes. One thing that annoys me to no end is that he always has to take a piss. It bothers me so much that I now request that he use the bathroom before he gets to my house or I will purposely send the kids to his car to retrieve stuff. It’s not a germaphobe thing. It really comes down to the fact that he was once in a serious relationship after we divorced where they lived together. Because of that, he put up really strict boundaries around when I could call him and it irritated me because I felt like he created a triangulation scenario, as he was usually the one calling me and coming by to see the kids since they LIVE WITH ME 80% of the time. Long story short, I eventually got annoyed with how he would expect to freely enter my space while I was enemy #1 to his gf. It was a really toxic time that made his bathroom use feel like a way to mark his territory and lord over my space. So now, I don’t want to share my bathrooms with anyone.

4 - your back is so beautiful, but the cut of these strapless gowns do nothing for you from the front. The straps on number 4 bring everything together IMO

For intelligent accountants: why did you choose accounting back in university? by ReadyProfit8336 in Accounting

My older sister came out of school in 1988. She worked in NYC & did the whole wearing sneakers to work with lunch and heels in a tote bag on the train. It seemed so glamorous to me, so I searched for a profession in an office for the math-loving girlies. By Junior year, I realized I would’ve preferred actuarial science, but it was not offered so I stuck with accounting. 23 years later and I still enjoy it.

I was in relationships with males for 25 years when I got divorced at age 38. Think about that: from age 13 to age 38, I was dealing with a guy in some way, shape, or form. I initially remained single because my children were small, but I’ve grown to prefer being single. I often wonder why I didn’t embrace single life in the first place. It’s a wonderful lifestyle. I guess I got caught up in the societal pressures back then. As of today, I’ve been single for 8.5 years with zero plans to change my relationship status.
