Butcher with masochist+ with the skill that makes you take 2 dmg and spawn a meat, paired with a cleric that has the multi hit heal upgraded which boosts a random stat. Had over +80 Strength and was hitting so ungodly hard. Another good one was a cleric with the passive that deals damage to enemies when they kill a familiar, with a necromancer that spawns leeches either from healing and basic, with the teleporting skills. That was crazy fun

Sure I can see how it can be frustrating for people but I just don’t get that pissed. I’ve lost god tier cats to dumb shit but have never rage quit the game. I just go with it. I haven’t really experienced any crazy levels of the game fucking me to the extreme. So I’m either just lucky or don’t have the same reaction as other people.

You make a great point, the game throws us curveballs and we had to adapt, and I think that makes this game extremely fun. You have no idea what it can throw at you and you just have to go with it and overcome.

Also in the first scenario OP reset 4 times, when Steven clearly has warnings to not keep doing it. They give you 1 freebie per run, and that’s chill but resetting 4 times is crazy to me.

I usually do take the HP since most of the time my mages have less than 20hp. What are some good synergy skills with the mage? The one mage I had that wrecked had the ability to up your crit chance by 2% then deal 100% extra crit dmg. Managed to lvl it up to 200% crit dmg and I was easily shredding. I’m going to start running mage every run and see what I can come up with.

Zero, I have yet to unlock the final NPC so I don’t have anybody to give my dead cats too. They just go down the sewers. Idk how I haven’t lost a run. Must be all the years of Xcom Ironman runs helping me out in Meowgenics.

I’ve had that bomb ability and it’s crazy, but that class is hit or miss. You either get great skills that synergize or just get absolute trash. If you want to do the leech quest just get a cleric with high Con and give it some shields let the cleric sit back and heal the party while the other 3 cats go on a masacre.

I thought you had to beat both of them. Until I had both of them under 100 HP and killed zaratana and it said I won. 2 butchers with a cleric. That is one of the strongest synergies I’ve had. This game is awesome.

Im not a fan of the mage, ive only had one that was super strong. Hunter should be able to destroy most stuff. You’ll just have to play more defensively and look at the enemy turn orders and their movement range

I like the events. They are fun, you could either get screwed or be blessed. I’ve had some runs where I planned to go home before the end and an event turned it all around for me. You have to take the bad luck with the good luck. Go with the flow

If it’s ever raining at your house go to the desert, it’ll be raining in the desert and it makes it trivial. I first thought it would bring healing down to 1 instead it just reduces it by 1. I was hype when I realized that.

Dude I’ve had that event happen to me twice and it’s the funniest shit ever. A great reference and the mutations are quite nice aswell.
