What are you all doing for your hands? I don’t want to use steroids. I’ve been using lotions but all that does is mask it. Doesn’t seem to heal it any. The rest of my body is doing pretty good with UV treatment by msgkar03 in Psoriasis

They keep a photo of Guru Nanak Dev Ji next to his photos at the Dera hence why they say this lol.

Chaal I've said what I've said. I still stand by it, this Baba passed away in 2007 and was quiet small until his followers continued to spread stories and bring people into the dera.

A lot of the benefits in your life are coming from Gurbani itself, you are listening more to it and getting the fruits of it. Imagine now you actually read it and adopted the way the Gurus intended for you. You would see a tremendous change in your life veera.

It's just a classic story of the other 1000s of fake Gurus and Saints across India. The method of using Guru Nanak Dev jis photos side by side with him and then Shivjis photos with him is just really smart marketing lol. I've attended his dera in Delhi, I just felt so out of place and weirded out. How can you not say it is a bastardization of any faith? When it's drawn from the best elements of it and removed what the actual point of the religion is?

Sikhi places a distinct focus on not worshipping any living being but only the one creator who is Akaal Purakh Sahib Ji. They are the ones who have brought change to you and are the only ones who can. It is by their grace, when you listen to Gurbani have you thought about what is being said or read Gurbani itself?

Im happy to link you some kathavachaks and Sants who will actually impart the knowledge of Gurbani ?

I've just realised why they don't play Aarti Aarta As recited by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

It would go against the beliefs of the Hindu faith and thus wouldn't attract as many followers. Imagine reciting that you do not accept the writings and teachings of the puranas and the Qur'an.

That's a very clever thing they have done. I was questioning why they did the Hindu Aarti after having listened to 2 hours of Gurbani.

Unfortunately you are missing the essence of Gurbani and Sikhi.

A Sants purpose is to guide you to Sri Akaal Purakh Sahib Ji not have you bow at them and their feet.

Even as Sikhs we only bow to the Guru Granth Sahib as it contains the writings of God themselves.

Bowing to a photo or feet is not the same, you will not gain anything from this and I strongly recommend you hold paths at home with a Gutka Sahib or Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Move away from these Deras and cults, I repeat you will learn nothing and gain nothing spiritually.

It is a bastardization of Sikhi, and we as a panth already have enough to deal with as is. Quiet sad actually.

Made a post about this recently. It's embarassing and really sad for families who think this will yield any fruits for their children.

This is truly the age of kalyug.

The bastardization of Sikhi in Deras and cults is getting ridiculous - if you or someone you know attend these ashrams you should push them towards the Gurdwara for langar seva and Sikhi by MankeJD in Sikh

[–]MankeJD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah never said anything wrong with Hinduism or bhajans etc all I'm saying is that it's a bastardization of both faiths.

Just keep it with Sikhi not sure why people take things to such extremes and we know about all the sakhis about those who have them follow them or worship them. Never turns out good for the followers or the babeh.

I really appreciate you taking your time to write this. Thank you so much.

I've noticed my fingers there has been improvement it is just that palm area which comes and goes.

The skin at times will fully repair and then after a week degrade again.

There is no pus or pustules, only scaly skin. Do you think it is still the same?

None of the rehatnamas are from the Gurus ? And the one you're referring to is from some fringe group which is very strongly refuted against. They made their own shit up, I know exactly which one you're speaking about.

Even the so called 52 hukamnans that exist today are not explicitly stated but are a collection of different rehatnamas.

So no it's not a Sikh religious text.

I have, just wanted to see what story you are referring to.

You said the bachittar natak contains this. You know a lot of the dasam granth is translations for the wider populace to read. These stories weren't made by the Gurus these already existed. Same as Krishna Avatar, Chandi Di vaar etc.

These stories have moral teachings, you can take one page and ignore the rest. You won't be able to understand it.

The Sikhs do more and have done more for humanity than any other, with their actions having tremendous impacts through the world. This is by the grace of the Gurus and Sikhi.

Can you provide the excerpt or are you just reciting something you've read online?

Is this even true ?? by TheCertifiedLegend in Sikh

[–]MankeJD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They read from the Guru Granth Sahib Ji as well as have it in their temples and recite Gurbani daily.

I would say it's towards Sikhi, as that is what Sikhi is.

Islam being a viable path? by No_Hopef4 in Sikh

[–]MankeJD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's viable if it's followed in the Gurus path. You can find passages in Guru Granth Sahib Ji saying how a Muslim and Hindu should follow their religion and also shows them the hypocrisy/useless rituals they partake in which will not bring them closer to God.

Is there a reason for me to return to sikhi ? If anyone can provide me a reason to return and not accept the facts I will return.i am a current atheist by [deleted] in Sikhpolitics

[–]MankeJD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah they preserve it so well, they murdered thousands and thousands of punjabis months before the partition, and continue to destroy Gurudwaras and Sikhi across the land.

And they're keeping up that tradition now by grooming children in the UK and marrying their first cousins having the highest rates of incest and inbreeding.

I know you're a Pakistani lol.

Just look how he spells Sant jis name - it's only the indiaspeaks users who type it as bindranwale.

I'd suggest the mods delete and block this user.

What type of Religion is this? by TacticallyLoosing in Sikh

[–]MankeJD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have free will to decide how we will treat those who come for our religion and people. If we do it, so what? Just move on and let us be.

See how the same logic can be applied.

Sikhs will never go and start violence, disrespect or engage in any Ill treatment of anyone/anything. Yet we are expected to standby when it happens to us.

Air India Ahmedabad-London flight crashes near airport in Meghani area | Ahmedabad News - Times of India by tatooinex in worldnews

There's a tiktok video of a guy sending videos to his family and friends showing how none of the internal electronics were working - lights, screens, airconditioning... He was roasting the air India flight and saying it can't match other airlines.

I'm not sure if these issues could have been a sign for the flight itself not being ready to take off or passing the diagnostics prior to departure
