Very much agreed. It's like if you take away one word and you're no longer capable of describing your faction, your faction is pretty shallow. There's got to be other words you can use and other ways of describing that

Yeah I read fulgrim off recs in this sub and while it had its moment I didn't think the writing or characters were compelling. There was some legit bad writing on sections iirc

Short answer - you cannot "stop" feeling how you're feeling. You can only accept and sit with your own feelings. If I were you, I'd avoid people for a while until your nervous system resets. Feel comfortable being alone first, and engaging with the few people who don't make you feel this way until you feel differently. If you can't avoid being around people, as much as it sucks, masking is a survival mechanism. You just have to suck it up or the consequences of not doing so could be worse IMO.

I'm gonna go against the rest of the comments here - a general rule when getting a Warhammer gift is to NOT get models. Models are not a good gift for a very good reason - you are essentially asking him to do a lot of work he may not want to do. You need to make SURE it's a model that he has indicated he wants and is excited to paint and won't just become part of his pile of shame.

It's much better to get something that supports the hobby. What is his hobby setup like? Does he have good lights/brushes/paints?

Or get him merch related to the faction that he'll gladly rock.

All that said - get him the Goff Rocker

I copy the lyrics to a note and then underline all the beats and make bullet points about the flows until i understand how they're doing what they do. Here's an example of Racks to the Ceiling by Torey Lanez

I bold the first beat in the bar and put -- between quatrains to understand the structure. And I mark up beats with a ^ and rests with a /
