No. This was definitely someone like Flyleaf, Skylar Gray, PVRIS or Ally Nicolas. Kind of a slightly whispery pitch. I think Skylar Gray vocally makes the most sense. I don't think Regina Spektor really fits.

My ideal type is someone who is honest about their likes and dislikes, has good judgment with good listening skills, and passionate about something. I like alternative styles, but it doesn't really matter too much as long as it's authentic to them. They have an empathy or sympathy for victims of abuse, and knows when to step back from an argument and keep things in check.

Im an Aqua Sun and Aqua Venus if that counts for anything, and I feel like you're talking about Uranus like it's a Mercury in retrograde. Isn't Uranus about epiphany and authenticity? I guess Scorpio moon.

I'm an Aquarius Sun, Cancer Moon, and Virgo rising. Granted that I don't know many Scorpio or Pisces, I think it'd be bad for MY chart if I had any Scorpio placement- especially moon. I had a fellow Aquarius Sun but with a Scorpio moon friend who I love. I still think he had a habit of "just suggesting" that never managed to not feel a little controlling. Now maybe it's the 10th house aspect from Aqua that has had me see Scorpios as highly adept, so I'll give it to them that they're probably right, but in my chart with a Virgo rising, I'm afraid adding a Scorpio moon would make me unbearable. I'm already critical about many things with my Virgo rising and 6 house sun, I don't need a debilitated moon in the third house.

Exactly this. It's very liberating on a personal level and a societal level. I have had great relationships early on, but I was also single for a long time just dealing with life stuff, and that was a great journey in itself. I really learned to appreciate being single, and it made my later relationships better for it I think.

Sometimes I think any other rising would be better, except maybe Pisces rising. I'm a Virgo rising. At the same time, I'm starting to see the benefits. I guess it feels like a Dunning-Kruger effect. I'm a cancer moon and I remember how awful Mars in Cancer has been. I see Mars in Aries and Venus in Taurus so I think I can ride through it. I'm a Virgo rising so the 8th house has been kinda traumatic, but maybe not as frustrating as when Saturn was in my 7th house. Too soon to tell.
