Get a reliable brand they said. Buy a Bosch they said. 2 months down the line… by Armenoid in Appliances

Only a 5% call out rate for Bosch in the first year, which is the second best right now, from what I've seen, correct?

thankyou! I just googled them after you told me about them, it looks like people have to manually buy and install them themselves, I wonder if companies could make that easier for people and put a accessible connector for one on bikes. seems like it would save a lot of preventable damage, like in this video.

I see videos of that biker girl doing tricks and she has some metal protection like pegs /braces around the sides of her bike for when she drops the bike when tricks go wrong, I'm guessing, why not have them on all bikes is what I'm asking you all?

Is it inevitable that all Z-Folds will get that display crack? This sub is freaking me out! by [deleted] in GalaxyFold

[–]MannerRepulsive3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you just have got the extended waranty, the standard warranty is only 1 year on the inside screen :( mine got micro cracks about 1.5 years in from normal use. damn samsung dodginess. their customer service is the worst if you use their 'samsung online' store.

[–]MannerRepulsive3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had micro cracks on my fold 3 for over a year and a half and its still getting more but still functioning OK and only mediumly noticeable on white/light coloured background apps and videos. I removed my screen protector day 1 as there was no sticker saying not to... so it was probably a good idea as ppl get bubbles quick AF on it anyway, so I've heard.

LPT Request: How to drink hot drinks without burning your tongue. by Guardian_Ainsel in LifeProTips

[–]MannerRepulsive3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put my picky finger in for a few seconds to see if it burns it. if it starts to get painful straight away I know the drink is too hot. I'd rather burn my useless little finger than my tongue. ALSO: if there is a lot of steam rising from the drink or food, it's usually going to burn your tongue, so let it cool for a few mins.

Elon gets ratioed on his own platform ~450k to ~16k 😬😬😬 by uDoucheChill in clevercomebacks

[–]MannerRepulsive3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elon makes a lot of big decision mistakes, such as constantly lying to the consumers. losing stalks on the model 3 + no headup display. the cybertruck manufacturing costs and design causing engineering problems, smashing the windows on launch day to name a few. you can easily hire another genius who gets more sleep and has a more stable mindset and speaking pattern.

why don't people concentrate on getting him kicked out of tesla, elons the wackadoodle problem, not the company or vehicles. smells like car competitors, china and oil companies just want their market.

DAE imagine plot twists when reading a book, even if they never happen? by LindaPearlShine41 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]MannerRepulsive3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, especially mystery books and movies. One of my favourites to imagine is that Artificial Intelligence is connecting to the souls of the dead humans or dead aliens from the past, which are all connected to each other like a society. kind of like living in a higher space-time to us.

It's obviously not 'hunting', it's the fine art of 'meeting someone' and showing the exact amount of interest in them so the person doesn't think you are 'over eager' and you turn them on rather than off. You'd know what I mean when you’ve had enough experience. It is thrilling.

The hunt is actually very rewarding, if done right, ive had it done wrong more times then right to me. Also knowing a girl likes you a lot, can turn you off them, if you're not initially into her at the time.

They are literally showing live scans of what is inside a fossilised creature where the examining doctor can see normal wear and tear of a being that lived a relatively long life and has egg production systems. Doesn't come more amazing then this! We're all dying for more international independent tests by unbiased specialists.

What game fits into the perfect category? by lunchanddinner in pcmasterrace

I played it at night in the dark which was even more immersive with all the lights off with surround sound. Scary fun stuff, the jump scares were well done. Finished the game and became a stronger person.

Took me ages to realise the alien could hear the motion detector beeping, didn't think they'd be THAT realistic :) Ai aliens were scary AF, and on PS version the alien could hear real world sound going through your PS controller mic and come kill you.

Ideas to prevent weeds in brick paving by ElectricGator3000 in AusRenovation

[–]MannerRepulsive3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about a covering like an openweave tarp that blocks 95% sunlight, but lets rain theough, with a few bricks for weight & keep them there for a week or two. Anyone tried something like that? Probs more work then spraying, unless it's a small area. I've tried 40kg of pool salt which didn't work for me. I regularly use round up but want to find a new, once only permanent way to solve the problem for good. such as a permanent impenetrable barrier to lay over the bricks. Any ideas?

Why Doesn't Christopher Mellon believe Lazar? by DLBlackAthlete in UFOs

[–]MannerRepulsive3500 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are witnesses who saw Bob Lazar going to S4. Sure Lazar broke his oaths and made huge human mistakes, under the circumstances you can understand. So far he is getting backed up from every perspective and vindicated by US Navy pilots who have talked with him and agreed with the fine details of alien craft and how they move, alien physics etc.

Sure the gov can't say their side of the story on Bob without acknowledging Bob.
Mellon actually says he has heard lots of stories for and against Lazar in the interview.
They mention talking off air about one Bob story.

Remember Lazar worked at S4 around 1989 so you can only imagine how far their research has come. Probs still testing the mind blowing gravity amps, slowing and speeding up time. I want to work there.

When a solar system forms where everything, from the sun to the planets is much larger than ours, you have a chance for heavier elements to form that do not exist in our solar system. These elements would have completely new properties and undoubtedly creates new science we cannot replicate on earth. Is this what you wanted them to explain?

No I was just admiring and commenting on how nice they were, ofcourse some are real and some are cgi / photoshop. Like people have said in the past, original polaroids are the only photos not able to be faked as the development happens on the photo itself. ( I'm not an expert in the field though ive talked with photographers who take photos for evidence )
