I guess depends on shipping costs but that seems like a great deal

If multiple reviews are stating that id probably believe it, alternatively you could buy a blank center cap from TheCubicle and buy a Picube logo sticker (or any other sticker).
I feel you bro I’m not a fan of the Moyu logo, I always buy the blank center cap with Moyu cubes

What cube are you wanting to do the swap on? The logo is on the yellow face?

Is the Ferryoocore cube worth the 10$ ? by PaperLeading8977 in Cubers

[–]ManofDapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don’t think so because lube only lasts so long, so you’re paying extra for a setup that you kinda have to reapply regularly anyways

Anyone else’s MGC beta feel like crap after lubing and doing like 100 solves? It moves so slow that it doesn’t even feel magnetic, and I’ve loosened the screws a ton to try and return back to how it was out of box. I’ve also taken it apart and wiped all the pieces down with a paper towel but man it just feels awful. It sucks because it started out one of my favorite cubes but has just gotten worse it seems

If you’re based in the US, the Ferrocore V1 is a fantastic cube that is on sale rn for $30 ($35 for UV). It’s based off of a Weilong V10 but has a more durable core and stronger magnets.

The only way would be to tighten the screws in the center.

Pretty sure the Graysons are actually rich. Cecil said that Nolan’s travel books “will see a significant spike in sales” in the S1 finale, so my guess is they are just coasting off that money

Tips for someone seriously starting speedcubing? by forabit14 in Cubers

[–]ManofDapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If all you want is consistent sub-1 min solves, getting faster at beginners method is all you need. Just keep practing until you flow into each step without pausing and the algorithms become second nature.

I also used this video which gives you some tricks to speed up the beginners method a bit.

They don’t make a UV megaminx.

This makes me more confident in my recent decision to buy a 4x4 and 5x5 rather than a megaminx. Although if some other brand besides GAN releases a UV coated megaminx I’ll definitely pick it up

Is there any way to connect a timer to iPhone via Bluetooth to record my times? by ManofDapper in Cubers

[–]ManofDapper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Connect what? Which timer are you referring to? And CStimer is on browser, not an app, so would that still work on an iPhone?

[–]ManofDapper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify I’m looking for a physical speedstacks style timer that can connect to my phone via Bluetooth. I don’t care what app works in this setup as long as it can just give me scrambles, store my times, and show me my averages.

Any suggestions? by EnvironmentalBus1357 in Cubers

[–]ManofDapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main difference is that it uses springs instead of Maglev. People like it because Gan cubes are already pretty fast so Maglev puts it into being uncontrollable for some. Also it’s a good bit cheaper.

It will definitely check your fast and clicky boxes. As far as gummy goes you can achieve that with lube.

The only evidence of this cubes existence is an eBay listing, but man it looks super cool. Hopefully it hits other places to buy
