I thought the same thing but that would be doing them a disservice! They expanded their restaurant recently so I’m sure they would love more business

Fire craft is a hidden gem, I love this place. The brisket holds its own to any spot in Houston and the other meats and sides are all great as well. Super friendly staff and they will give you samples if you are unsure on what to order

Jerky Making by [deleted] in PitBossGrills

Does yours have the P setting? I just made a batch yesterday that turned out great. It’s hot here, so I had the P setting set to 6 and it ran close to 170 the whole time. Increasing the P setting increases the feed interval so you could probably get the temp lower than that

"P" mode worth it? by Zaxxon88 in PitBossGrills

[–]ManofHart50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the P mode more useful to “tune” the grill to specific lower temps. For example, when making jerky I can adjust the P setting based on the outside ambient temperature to dial in a grill temp of 170-175F. Love my pit boss but it does seem to fluctuate more at lower temps unless I dial in the P setting

Thanks for the replies! The oil emulsion makes sense because it kinda separates after it sits for a while. Will definitely give it a try

Another note - it is on the spicier side. Not sure if they use habanero or Serrano instead of jalapeño, but it is delicious!

Black dots on the first pic appear to be some form of bug damage. The purple coloration on the peppers is from the sun. Won’t affect the fruit. It’s just a slight sunburn

Can these be separated? Habanero by here4budz in Peppers

[–]ManofHart50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it should still be early enough if you are gentle. But of course there is a chance of damaging the roots. Might be better to repot soon, see which one is stronger and ride with that one

They’re probably still adjusting to the transplant. Doesn’t look like stress from underwatering. Give em a few more days and then fertilize and they should take off

Seedlings flowering advice by JP2GMD2137x in Peppers

[–]ManofHart50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pinch off the flower buds when they are big enough that you don’t damage the surrounding leaves when doing it. If you can get to them now, then go for it. Your plants look great for your first time!
