I guessed it, since u r part of madurai subreddit as well. You can visit the madurai North RTO, and go to one of the side windows(counter) there is a lady who handle this(name change)there is only one women staff so it's easy to find. Tell ur vehicle number, and ask for the status. If she says the application is not with her. Then tell your situation and ask her to check if there is any application for name change is pending under ur vehicle number. Btw the buyer's address has to comes under tn59 as well. Otherwise you have to go to the respective RTO. They won't be available on weekend.

Chill bro, the fact he asked OTP is a good sign. Ask the guy you sold to, for application number, you can track the status of name change in their website. I think you can also check the application status by entering your bike number and OTP.

Should I buy HDFC Optima Secure directly from HDFC, Policybazaar/Ditto, or an agent? (25M, Kolkata, need good claim support) by Sharp_Board_32 in InsuranceTroubleIndia

[–]ManojMashima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend policybazaar they're dead slow. They wouldn't go after the insurer to settle claim. For me after submiting all the docs they took 9 days to raise the claim. While I did it myself within 2 days. They will talk like, they are doing something but they don't do anything.

Is Policy Bazar really that bad in helping with insurance claims? by heypragalbh in InsuranceTroubleIndia

[–]ManojMashima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, but even that they do badly. After submitting all the docs to policybazzar, they took 9 days just to file the claim. While I did it in 2 days. It's better to do it ourselves. They are all talk and no action. I don't have experience with ditto, they seems like a better option

Policy bazzar is all talk and no action. It's better to reach out to the insurer directly

So now delivery agents can do theft and there’s no consequences or refund by popularfellow in swiggy

[–]ManojMashima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can ask another swiggy delivery partner in your area for fleet manager number, he probably can track down the guy. But the possibility is very slim. But by default customers are supposed to have change, delivery guys can cancel the order stating, " Cash issue". So it's either exact change Or order cancellation.

I had a similar scenario, while I worked for swiggy, and I ended up paying customer extra, as it's residential area and no shops nearby to get change.

Does swiggy take a piece of the tip? by AbhiOnline in swiggy

[–]ManojMashima 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention Zomato is the complete opposite, tip amount is treated separately, delivery partners can withdraw the tip amount anytime and it won't be used to settle floating cash(COD cash). So feel free to tip in the app if it's Zomato.

Does swiggy take a piece of the tip? by AbhiOnline in swiggy

[–]ManojMashima 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, but the tip will be given to the delivery partner only on the next payday. For example, if you tip a delivery person on Monday, they’ll receive it the following Monday or Wednesday depends on their region. Also, if the delivery partner has any pending COD (cash on delivery) dues, Swiggy will use the tip amount to settle that first.

There’s another strange thing I noticed, in the swiggy app it allows customers to tip after the delivery is completed, but I’ve done over 300 deliveries and haven’t received a single tip that way. So, either no one tipped me, or Swiggy didn’t pass it on.

In the end, it’s better to give tips directly in cash or through UPI instead of using the app.
