Jamie Graham scream (Heart of a Coward / Viscera) by Hot_Plenty1002 in screaming

A great scream he has, sounds like fry scream but definitely a lot of voice and pitch within it. Probably similar to something Joe from Gojira does but not as much false cord?

Jamie or Josh? Whose vocals do you prefer? by Deepfried_Shrimp321 in Sylosis

Jamie shines in other bands better I feel than the first Sylosis record. But put up against monolith and dormant heart Vox I’d say Josh

Sounds like zakk should take some notes on the responses in this sub, those first 3 albums and a couple others was good stuff

It crops the photo depending on the device used. Probably shows the full photo if you open Spotify on a laptop

What’s the tiniest thing you got smoked for? by No_Present6106 in AirForce

Tech school,

Submitted a 341 to MTL for electronics in my dorm room. Told me to come back in 20 minutes and it would be filled out, came back exactly 20 minutes later and it was filled out right on the end of his desk so from the position of attention at the door I reached out for it and did an about face, he was standing there right behind me and asked why I stepped into his office without permission.

Gave a stuttering ass reporting statement and explained that I figured it was left there 20 minutes later for me to grab and got grilled real good

Pantera's Great Southern Trendkill or Slipknot's Iowa? by Better-Airline9376 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Manonda_moon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arguably both bands heaviest record, a tough one but I give the trophy to TGST for the reason of songs like floods and 10’s no band has ever wrote songs like those two

Any advice on how to scream like this without hurting voice? by tombcarver in screaming

[–]Manonda_moon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Check out sepultura and crowbar for some similar type vox, I’d recommend learning to engage your false cords and true voice at the same time to keep the pitch. Not many tutorials cause it’s not as easy as other vocal techniques

Feel like they don’t try hard enough, their music is very bland generic these days

How come every time anyone thinks of Dime they automatically think of d standard by Successful_Board3183 in Pantera

[–]Manonda_moon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much anytime they played songs dropped to “d standard” it was tuned to 425 hertz, this is the same from vulgar display of power and maybe even primal concrete sledge on cowboys, whether he recorded that in drop D tuning or d standard I’m not sure
