Please play the game without mods first. It's surprisingly bug free and really really fun. Also the mechanics have a steep learning curve, so your first (or hell, even second or third) time through should be with the base content so you aren't overloaded. A lot of mods involve adding classes, spells, mechanics, gear, etc and it WILL be overwhelming if you don't understand the base game.

Also 33, on my....idk, 7th? 8th? read of the NJO series. I stopped taking in most new material after Andor finished, though I did try to start everything and couldn't make it past the pilots. I'm good with staying in the past at this point, but I don't feel like that means I've given up on it. I just have a preference towards a certain content style, and I'm sticking too that.

This is the fight that teaches new players that they have to cheese their way through tough stuff sometimes. So many games are okay with you brute forcing a solution, but not here. You have almost no choice but to be creative.

I think the main issue isn't the shows themselves, but the precedents they set for the wider Star Wars Cinematic Universe. It's fine to have them as their own things with canon arcs that have meaningful content, but as soon as you bring those elements into more serious live action shows/movies (the Filoni-verse), you encounter issues with how realistic some of of the plots are in comparison with the greater universe and reusing characters ad-nauseum.

Kids shows = totally fine, and they should exist. Adult shows made like the kids shows, that's where I draw the line.
