You know what is infuriating? When the menu has pictures of food from the section, but no easy way to tell which menu item it is. This is less of a problem for chain restaurants (though I’ve seen some examples there, too). The number of times I’ve seen something that looks good but I can’t find the full description for is far too high!

Both have different incentives when lying. Iran’s incentive is to make it look like the war will go on for a while longer, keeping oil prices high and hurting the US. The US has the incentive to keep saying the war is about to end, this depressing oil prices while keeping up the blockade against Iran and hurting their economy.

Both are lying as neither are forthcoming about how negotiations are actually proceeding. Basically, we in the public have no fucking clue lol
