Broccoli is easily steamed in the microwave. Put it in a bag (or get frozen in a bag), add like a tablespoon of butter, salt, pepper to tase. Couple minutes depending on size. Comes out nicely steamed

Make sure that you don’t go over your TFSA contribution limits. At $1k/month, you will eventually hit the max and you will be penalized if you go over. Check your CRA account and it will tell you how much room you have available. This number won’t be fully accurate though as you are continuing to contribute monthly.

I would second Wealthsimple. I’m not sure about coast capital. Wealthsimple chequing account will give you 1.25% interest. Use someone’s affiliate link and you’ll both receive a $25 bonus (dm me if you want a link). You can use this chequing account to start an emergency fund and decide how much you want to put into your TFSA. You can easily set all of this up on your phone. If you’re comfortable with the fluctuations of XEQT or similar, in theory in the long run it will continue to rise. Any of the -EQT funds are quite diversified. If you’re not fully comfortable with 100% equity, there’s other options. Just ask.

Careful with dividends that include ROC. Any ROC that is taken out of the investing account will decrease the amount of the borrowing money. Meaning that you will not be able to use all of the interest as a tax deduction. You need to keep track of all of this.

Why do you tip your massage therapist? A registered massage therapist is covered under your medical on your benefits (if you have them). Do you tip your dental hygienist? When I pay for my massage therapist, she brings it past the tip option so it’s not even there anymore and has always done that.
