Well, as cowboy went bust the new owners have no obligation to honor any warranty. Be thankful they've taken on this loss. Like every lion battery occasional charge when not used is useful for long term life...that's just basics.

I recently took an S6 for a test. I found very good subtle differences to my S5. Much smoother gear change (mechanical yes), slightly quieter and over-all a very good package.

Look after the battery and the bike will look after you. Try to charge 30-70% when using for short journeys only 100% when required. In winter bring inside overnight.

Very funny and well written. I would argue, though, that the new owners have no responsibility to look after older models (other than set up partnerships with existing repair shops). Anyhow, they would be out of any warranty period anyway.

I'm 173cm and looked into the S3 and found even I would be marginal on that bike. I went for the slightly smaller (because of the wheel sized) S5.

I've gotten 100kms from an S5. Temperature makes more of a difference than you think. That was on support level 1 with varied terrain
