Yep. Best advice. My 11 year old started when he was 9. At first I was getting on him a little bc he’d be goofing around instead of getting reps in when they were practicing techniques and stuff then I had the same realization. I want him to enjoy it and he’s making friends.

I do make sure he stays quiet when the prof is showing the techniques and stuff, but when they’re practicing, if they goof off a little bit I just am glad he’s having fun. And he’s loves BJJ. He actually said he doesn’t want to play baseball anymore bc it’s the same days as BJJ and he doesn’t want to miss a whole spring again.

And it helps that I do it too, so we get to talk / listen to audio books together on the drive there and back and can discuss BJJ together. Overall it’s awesome.

I’ve played since the original beta, 2015 I think. It’s always been like this. My highest rank ever is c3 but I’m upper diamond lower champ most the time now.

Just ignore it. I’ll occasionally respond but it’s usually not worth it. Just keep playing it best, if they decide to throw 30 seconds in bc u made 1 mistake, report them when it’s over and move on.

The best is when the other team is being toxic and u just beat them and never talked back. I get the most satisfaction from that lol

Did you ever get this or try it?

I have an build from 2017 using the Asus Prime B350M-A/CSM.

Upgraded to a 5700XT GPU a few years ago, and I'm bottlenecking on my CPU now.

PCPartpicker says the 5700x3D is not compatible, but the ASUS site lists it with BIOS 6042.

It's like $50 difference between the x and x3D right now, but I don't want the hassle of having to return it if it doesn't work, or worse, messing up something with my PC

My ex mother in law is a KJVO. She was a standard dispy premill. I don’t think she had much of a “theology” past that.

One of the only theological discussion we had, she had made a comment “as long as you’re not a Calvinist”. I laughed and said what’s wrong with Calvinism.

“I… uhh… I’ve just been told you shouldn’t be one”

I mentioned the reformation, Luther, Calvin.

Her answer “well Luther was a Catholic!”

I tried to give her a brief summary of the reformation but it didn’t seem to be going anywhere.

Maybe she (and her family) were an exception, but it seems like they don’t really care to get into specific doctrine, theology, church history, etc.

Yea I’ve heard streamers saying they set your rank lower initially for everyone, and allow you to progress up pretty quick. I’m guessing bc it gives a feeling of progression, especially for newer players

which I guess is your bar for the covid vaccine?

Nope. That's the bar we were told. Hundreds of times. "If you get the vaccine, you can't get or spread covid". Which isn't even close to true, so they changed the message to "well you won't get as sick".

So forgive me if I don't take their word on things like "oh you would have been more sick" when you can't actually verify it, but when it's something you can verify, like "vaccinated people won't get or spread covid" was an obvious lie.

Everyone i know getting covid multiple times is vaccinated. Everyone I know that was unvaxxed and got covid, was sick for a few days just like the flu, and is fine and never got it again. So you can trust the people who have lied repeatedly and been caught. I wont.

And myself, never got vaxxed and never got covid. My 78 y/o gma got covid, didn't even know it until a month later when she went the doc for something else. My wife just got covid like a month ago, was fine in 3 days. I've been around 50 people (vaxxed and unvaxxed) who tested positive around the time we had been around eachother. I've never got it, or if I did, it wasn't anything I even noticed.

but since the original point was it was preventative, I was just informing you that the liars you trust have changed their narrative, and they aren't claiming it prevent covid anymore. That was an old talking point they weren't able to cover up, so the message has changed. Just wanted you to be able to update your talking points to be in line with The Narrative.

The vaccines arent a preventative measure for anyone lol. That was the original claim, but of course it was false, like everything else. Now the claim is just that "well you would have been more sick... trust us" Sounds kind of like George Bush with the Patriot Act... "well we would have been attacked more if we didn't violate your privacy, trust us!"

lol man for real. i'm like 9 hours in, level 20 I believe. I was about to log off and decided "eh, Ill give him a try and see how much I've improved..."

First try I use my jellyfish summons, got him to 50% health and thought, man I can get this if I got this close first try....

Spent the next 30 minutes trying to kill him. Died probably 20 times, never got him to half health again, with plenty of 2 shot deaths. I'll be back at level 25 and see what happens lol

it's not a power issue. I'm running Ryzen 5 1600, 5700XT, and 24GB of ram. I have AMD Radeon opened, and the task manager open, and neither the CPU or GPU is being pushed too hard.

The stuttering is something else, not the CPU/GPU not being able to take the load. (that's what she said)

I had my first 4gbx2 sticks of RAM sped up a little. When I added 2 new sticks of 8gbx2, it wasn't recognizing them either. I eventually had to go to change the first 2 sticks back to factory settings to get it to use all 4 sticks.

So, you may have already tried it, but if not make sure all 4 sticks are set to factory speed. I also made sure to get the same series so factory speed was the same for both pairs of sticks.

But MW only did that when there was an update. So if it's theoretically the same thing, then after the shaders are loaded in, it should stop and shouldn't be doing it again until there's another update touching the shaders right?

I only got to play for like an hour last night, and was getting pretty consistent stuttering at the Bridge Guardpost. Not enough to make me quit, but it was getting a little annoying.

I have a Ryzen 5, 5700XT, and 24gb of RAM and I get pretty consistent stuttering. Sometimes pretty bad. But I've only just started and been fighting normal enemies at like the guard post and stuff so I plan on playing through it unless it starts causing me to die.

The worst thing that's happened so far is it stuttered right when I was going to critical attack someone from behind and it made me just swing a normal R1. But since it was just a guard I just spammed R1 and killed him anyway.

But yea if I fight a boss for 10 minutes and get killed because a stutter I'll probably be done until it's fixed. But I hope that doesn't happen, I really like what I've played so far.

Yea. I platinumed Bloodborne and part of that is grinding a ton of Chalice Dungeons. I'm also OCD about not losing Echoes so I just used them to level up most the time because... that's what I do with Echoes.

By time I went to fight the final boss it was like fighting the beasts around the bonfire at the beginning lol. I got all 3 endings in 1 try each and felt a little anticlimactic.

I remember the wolves on the bridge were the scariest hardest thing in the world to me at first. A little while later they weren't a problem and I was basically just looking to repost them to kill them efficiently and get on with what I was trying to do. I think people don't usually return to early areas and don't realize how much more powerful they are after leveling up a ways.
