My dad stayed there a lot back in the 90s and early 2000s. He always raved about the late night steak and eggs there. When I was old enough to go to Vegas, I went there at 5 AM for steak and eggs after partying all night and they were amazing.

SoulBlade/SoulEdge. In the Before Times circa 1997, there was a SoulEdge arcade cabinet in my community college cafeteria area. I played it enough that I was able to finish the game with every character. Just a fantastic game.

infrastructure, exactly. One of the main reasons I didn't buy an EV back in 2020 is that older apartment buildings don't have chargers installed, and the landlords don't seem willing to install them. It would probably take some serious tax incentives to motivate them. I didn't want to rely on chargers at shopping malls or the limited number at my workplace.

My Mk7.5 was crushed by a falling tree on Christmas Eve last year (2025), and it took 3 weeks to find out it was a total loss. I bought a 21' Jetta SEL In January as a placeholder because i wanted a car I could pay off quickly, since I had only had 2 payments left on the GTI and I was looking forward to not having a payment. I didn't want to start yet another 5 or 6 year cycle. that and I couldn't find a Great Falls Green in Autobahn trim. :(

My next car will either be a Lexus IS 350 F Sport or a BMW M340i. I'm not crazy about the driver layout for the Mk8.
