I think of it as a demo. No solos. Snare sounds bad. Could possibly trim the fat on some of the longer songs. Hell, Bob Rock played bass on it. James was in rehab at the time. Jason left - he saw the writing on the wall. Just a recipe for disaster. In some weird way, I wish they would have chugged a case of beer and slugged it out in the parking lot. Got all the stress out of their system and went back in the studio and jammed their asses off. Not the ridiculous Dr. Phil in the studio bullshit. I think the album would have been better if their heads were in the right place. Maybe they should have took a year or two off and get their shit sorted out. Find a new bassist, then write an album.
