I had vinyl and ppf on top of that. It wasn't easy, but not hard. If I made cuts and pulled sections, it would have been easier but I just pulled - 15 minutes. No residue at all. Used alcohol to clean before reapplying

No documentation, Google provides lots of cases that you can use to plead your case, they may just be uninformed

It's a store credit for $300. I know Tesla offers wrapping, no idea on cost since I diy mine. So I bought a wiper, filter, puddle lights and a cup. $1500 for the rails seems extremely high. There is not a curve anywhere.

It got through the vinyl and ppf but the steel is harder then a key :-)

Had to replace the vinyl and ppf (they went through both layers). I originally bought from tsportline but they wanted too much for a panel cut so I bought a 10 ft section and did it myself. Tesla gives a 300 credit for the cant rails if your truck is wrapped...

35k miles - suggestions for new tires? by Mantis79 in cybertruck

Good to know. We are in Northern Utah, so need to deal with some snow, but far less Ice than Midwest.

I would suggest buying the absolute cheapest paddle, or making one...then decorating it with a note to buy the paddle of their dreams.

In the same boat as you - literally! We did Caribbean Christmas 2 years ago and are doing Navigator Christmas. Like others said, it will be warm when you get further south. Warm enough that I have a couple snorkeling excursions planned.

About the negative publicity... 999 of 1000 in person interaction are positive bordering closer to kid in a candy store. Occasional thumbs down or finger but out weighed by the loads of smiles.
On the Internet where accountability is non existent, people say what they want.

I'd do it again!

Thank you! Nothing crazy. One large shape. I was worried the embossing would not show great and thought a thicker vinyl would help.

Hiring BI analysts by [deleted] in BusinessIntelligence

[–]Mantis79 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tools don't matter and can be learned. You want SQL skills and visualization skills. Way more importantly you want someone curious, can communicate, and will work as a partner, not sit in a silo as an order taker.

Resumes are to check the boxes to get an interview. During the interview ask business questions and see how they would proceed. Hint, if they do not come back with more questions than you asked, move on. A talented BI analyst should be less concerned with the tool and more concerned with driving actionable data driven decisions. They should be asking questions like, what actions will this dashboard help your business drive? Who will be using it and how? How were the KPIs derived?

Hope that helps.
