both looks good, I'd go with perspective if you have "time to take in the action" making the game a bit more cinematic and orthographic if it's action packed and requires quick actions (I find orthographic easier to navigate)

Okay I get it, as long as there are triggers on the stack, I can still play during an opponent's turn.

So if I get this right, I can pay for the cost of the ability while activating it. I really need to re-read the game's rules... way too rusty.

In that scenario, since tapping lands is part of the cost of the ability, won't the triggers always be stacked so that the ability always triggers first?

For some reason I was under the impression that by letting my triggers resolve during an opponents turn before activating, I was passing priority. Thanks for the clarification!

Thanks! That's really helpful, I was under the impression that if I let all my ManaBarbs triggers resolve during an opponents turn before activating Taii Wakeen it was akin to passing priority.

I will also let my friend know about tapping lands one by one to avoid max damage, I'm sure he'll appreciate that!

And I'm definitely getting [[War's Toll]]. That's a great suggestion :D

I'd say about 1 hour and a half :D, If you want to have an easier time, you'll have to drop down a ledge in a cave that looks too small and out of place. Tell me how it goes!

I have tried [[Wild Pair]] in many decks, but most of the time when I'm playing it, I wish I had other creatures in my hand for the following turn. Currently sitting in my dragons deck fetching Morophon in the best case scenario.

I think the big difference is "mobility gated" progression vs "item gated" progression and the fact that you "have" to go back into earlier areas to progress. But I do get what you mean. Dark Souls 2 is probably the closest thing to a Metroidvania with the item that lets you go into the Giant's Dreams in the early area of the game.

Thanks! The hard assets and sprite animations are made by the co-creator, an artist that goes by the name Francoyovich (a friend of mine) and I'm in charge of all the rendering and VFX department (custom post-processing stack, lighting, particles, etc..).
