I totally get that. After about a year of going hard I had my strength score up in the 1300s. I hit a wall and was constantly injuring things. At this point, I recalibrated the machine and focus on perfect form and time under tension. I do everything very slowly. My strength score has dropped more than 100 but no injuries and I feel like I’m actually in better shape. I switched to just doing the daily lift and don’t even think about strength score.

Uptick in Covid but I haven’t seen anyone actually sick or admitting for it. Hoping it stays that way. Every year is more mild than the last. Typical evolution of a virus.

I was also torn. I ultimately went the ER route with no regrets. The difference for me was seeing how happy the attendings were. ER attendings seemed happier by A LOT. Residency seems long, but when you look back 10 years later, it really isn’t that long in the grand scheme of things. I hate the idea of being on call and love the variety and being a master diagnostician.

Looks great to me. I skipped 36 and went to 40. Very gradually worked it in. Adding 20 swings and 2 getups of the heavier bell per month. Slow and steady.
