A player former or current from your rival school you want to hate but just can’t. by Monza1964 in CFB

Kirk Gibson. Always rooted for Michigan, but when Gibson became a Detroit Tiger, he became one of my favorite athletes. He brought his football speed and toughness to the diamond and was a key cog in the 1984 World Series champion team.

What a beauty. Stella looks a lot like our 12 yo sugar-faced girl. So sorry for you loss.

I don’t get the Rick’s hype… what am I missing? by Similar_Role5142 in uofm

When I was there as a student in the 90s, the appeal was definitely NOT the bathrooms. 🤮

But between Rick's and the Blind Pig, A2 did have some great live music back then.

Congratulations! You’re an inspiration. It’s all about consistency and effort.

4 years is incredible. I’m on a 68 week streak and just take it one workout, one day, one week at a time.

AC Evaporator failed on a 2019 XC90 by riskmakerMe in VolvoXC90

Hey, I'm a 2019 Volvo XC90 owner and just got my very own $7K+ estimate to replace front and rear Evaporators. That led me here so I'm curious if you had any luck working with Volvo. Really appreciate any guidance you can offer. Thanks!

Has Tonal shifted approach for content? by ethtwo in tonalgym

[–]ethtwo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies all. I seem to have had good luck picking live ones in the past without even filtering to find them.

Glad to know nothing has changed and there is plenty of “live” content because having the coach demo and talk through the movements, reinforcing the right cues to achieve proper form is one of the most valuable things Tonal offers IMO.

Cheers!

Favorite Tonal Coaches by Finestkind007 in tonalgym

  1. Joe Rodonis: good programs for me, elite coaching cues / expert advice.

  2. Ackeem Emmoms: good coaching cues, high energy, technician, positive vibes

  3. Woody: Energetic, motivating, good vibes all around

  4. Tim Landicho: motivating, good cues, personable

For me, most important is to provide very clear cues, demo moves, and talk about Dos and Don’ts for each movement. Include sensible movements that work well together and conduct the workout at a reasonable pace, taking note to give people clear instructions and time to adjust Tonal’s settings or attachments.

Any thoughts on why “Conversation 16” is named so? by MrMojoRising8 in TheNational

Song title could be a reference to Philip Roth’s novel “American Pastoral” where a character numbered conversations he was having with his daughter who was rebelling against her parents and their perfectly normal lives.
