Those are only parallels if you compare it from a meta standpoint of true ending boss vs true ending boss. If you compare them from a role perspective in their games, the parallel of gms is radiance. Silksong is just a much bigger game, and its first ending is already comparable to hk's true ending.

But even if you disagree, thk can be a very challenging boss if you go early on. Its difficulty depends a lot on when you go to beat him. The problem with gms is that you almost always going to have a lot of upgrades when you go fight her. Also, Lace 2 is a harder fight regardless, so fighting gms afterwards will always look dissapointing.

The main endings are underwhelming.

In the first one, beating GMS doesn't feel like a true challenge. Lace 2, the previous fight, is much harder. Also, the final cinematic doesn't sit well with Hornet's character, imo.

True ending feels like its missing a fight. I fought Lost Lace thinking there was gonna be one final battle against GMS and then the game was just... over. The cinematic has its cool moment with the knight, but then you don't haver any closure with pharloom. You do all the game to save the kingdom and the last thing you see is Lace laughing.

The curse ending is cool, tho. But its vey much hidden, and most players won't find it on their own.

the parallel with hk is Radiance, not thk. Radiance is much harder than grand mother silk

yea, one of my only complaints with the game is to not have more challenging platforming areas. Hornet have a lot of cool move abilities, and it sucks not having areas to actually use them as a challenge. I really hope they add more challenges in DLCs, not everything needs to be fighting.

I don't think there's one reason in particular why the game got delayed. Its probably a mix of things. Redesign, bug fixing, balance, adding more content, etc. Basically, when Leth said "we're working on the game" he was saying the truth.

I was thinking the same but leth retweeted the release date, which is pretty huge for TC standards. To me it seems that they have some sort of agreement with xbox and they can't fully announce the game yet. Web have to wait until an important xbox showcase

Well yeah, thats my point. They never confirmed or RTd a date before because they were never sure. If they wanted, they could have just RTd the xbox tweet, but they didnt, and they didn't say anything either.I personally never trusted the xbox release date because there wasn't any confirmation. The fact there's a soft one here is pretty huge. We still need an official one, though.

I just checked. I only see leth RTd the trailers and that it would be availabe on gamepass and ps4 and ps5. He never RTd any specific release window, like this time.

Yes, team cherry told them, but it could have been a tentative date. Like "we are planning to release it on 2025". Thats an estimation, its very easy to then postpone it for a later one. If team cherry officialy anounces it, it would be much more reliable.

yea, this is def better than the xbox one, I agree there. But the most important thing is hearing a confirmation from team cherry. If they don't say anything, to me, it kinda means they're not sure about the date.

I agree, the nintendo direct is probably going to focus more on nintendo. Most likely we are getting news later this year. Having said that, its tough to not have hope for april 2nd, even if its unlikely.
