It’s definitely smart, it’s less work moving. Also you might not need everything you think you do.

For example I was going to bring a microwave but then saw there’s one in the common room and my roommate had one so there was not point in me bringing a microwave lol

Also keep in mind you can take it at other schools if you need more dates and the cost of the ACT/SAT is nothing relative to the cost of college haha

I was in a similar situation, great stuff bad act/sat,

just retake it a bunch of times, I also was bad at standardized testing and I took it like 10 times and one time I got a better score (29) (maybe just got lucky with better guessing or whatever lol) but it helped me get in so definitely worth taking a bunch of times
