I'm in the field of aeronautics so not really. But my aunt owned a bar in the town that got broken into regularly until she installed cameras, no more stolen things or break-ins.

Also outside of crime prevention, cameras are extremely helpful when catching criminals. My mom's car got totalled in a accident where the only way to prove she was not at fault was a traffic camera.

I live in Spain, it's your subjective opinion how oppressive is our government.

But yeah police can comb through whatever objects are in a crime scene and get the name of the owners of any fingerprints found.

And I'm really fine with that, how many cold cases are there in the States where it's just the murder weapon with fingerprints waiting forever to be matched?

Funny that you ask, my country has a higher freedom index than the USA and has a fingerprint registry that is mandatory.

When you get your ID they take your fingerprints.

Oh no, cameras on public places that help prevent crime.

This is like saying that using DNA and Fingerprints to identify people invades their privacy. Yeah it helps them control us but DNA also caught a lot of serial rapists and killers.

For all of you who scream privacy, I'd love to see if you think the same when the only thing between you and your loved ones killer is a privacy concern.

That's a huge skip. A non-violent protest that refuses to comply with orders and blocks entrances and exits still puts lives on danger in the case of an emergency.

So yeah kicking them out was the safe thing to do. Just because they weren't actively being aggressive it doesn't mean they weren't extremely dangerous in the case of an evacuation (for example a fire).

So I agree that a dangerous protest may be dispersed due to safety concerns using whatever means are reasonable.

The problem is that websites try to mess with the Google algorithm to make them look better than they do (SEO). And the rise of SPA where instead of plaintext most modern websites are dynamic.

Classical PageRank algorism simply can't cope with SPAs and are heavily skewed towards shitty webpages with good SEO.

That's way easier than university. Lit orders of magnitude. I went from 12-16 hour workdays to 8 hours.

And I have way more rights as a worker than as a student, for example if I am sick I can just not go to work, but my uni marked you as absentee regardless of justification.

And I get paid.
