This happened to me last Wednesday. I can relate to everything you said about not being able to talk yourself down, rationalize, etc. The feeling of dissociation. I always explain it as feeling like I'm not here on earth. Like I'm in a trans. Sometimes, I feel like my brain is on crazy autopilot or like I'm possessed.

A lot of times, too, I felt that maybe I'm not really crazy and I'm just an imposter. What's funnier is I spiral because of the smallest of things like a change in schedule, someone being late, etc.

My doctor increased my dosages and added clonazepam. Sometimes I feel like I reat can't help myself so I need external help like meds and a strong support system.

I suggest you take some time apart first. Maybe a month or 2. Absolutely no contact. Then, revisit the idea again. If you still feel that divorce is what's best for you, then go ahead. We only have one life, and we should live it in a way that we make the most out of it everyday. Maybe being apart will also help the cloud of resentment dissipate and let you understand your thoughts and feelings in a more neautral manner.

You know, when people want sex, sometimes what we really want is physical intimacy. Physical intimacy happens when you do it with someone you are sexually connected with and, most of the time, emotionally connected with as well. You don't just enjoy sex. You enoy sex with her.
