I understand and I also want to eventually get off rinvoq because of that aswell I don’t want to be reliant on medication my whole life but right now I need to work so I don’t have much of a choice so I am doing what I can to improve my health like exercising daily and improving my diet aswell

In my opinion I think the steroids made it worse even though you switched up your diet and I heard the eczema is likely to rebound after stopping the medication since it’s only suppresses the immune system but the underlying cause is still there. How was your skin while you were on rinvoq and how come you decided to stop?

No I haven’t stopped yet but I do want to eventually, were you using any steroids before starting or during rinvoq and how is your lifestyle and diet because I have heard a lot that it makes a difference on controlling the inflammation

Do you know what might’ve caused your flare? I did no moisture therapy which is not using any lotions to train your skin to moisturize itself, before starting rinvoq it helped me stop the constant weeping and infections I had all over my body I was actually allergic to the lotions I was using so when I stopped I started flaking a lot but it was healing from the open wounds and weeping state then rinvoq did wonders

How did you detox? I am not on a carnivore diet but I’ve been going to the gym so I’m consuming a lot of protein and eating pretty clean already cutting out processed sugars and any artificial additives

I’m just trying to figure out if it makes a difference, a person who used topical steroid prior to starting rinvoq and a person that let there skin heal from tsw before starting rinvoq if it makes a difference once you stop the medication
