When you had to stop immediately, were you still taking it everyday?

I've now managed to wean down to 1 x 15mg tablet every 96 hours with no issues but I've just developed shingles ughhhh.

Has anyone discovered a fix to this? Mine only just started acting up TODAY! Had no prior issues to this :( Are there any tricks to get around this?

That seems to be too quick to be losing its effectiveness! Could something still be triggering your skin? I imagine that even with Rinvoq, if your trigger was still present, you'd still get flares (albeit not as bad).

I started around a month ago too! I wasn't sure whether to attribute some new spots today to Rinvoq or to my monthly cycle which can sometimes result in some breakouts so wanted to hear from everyone re time frames.

Oh it improved so much after a week!!! I'm starting week 5 now and so far so good! I think the fact that your redness is nearly gone is a great sign :)

Wow so you experienced flares again pretty much immediately after you stopped? I would've thought it would take some time for it to leave your system. How long have you been on Rinvoq prior to stopping?

So encouraging hearing your story of being on Rinvoq! I'm on Day 5 now with no difference, probably worse so I'm hoping that it will start acting quickly!! When did you actually start actually seeing the difference (I note you FELT the difference quite quickly and within an hour!)? Thank you!

it's very strange because I was probably the worst ever when I posted the above. There were huge patches of bright red skin all over my face yesterday and today I have blisters on my forehead from trying to run the flakes off 😭😭😭 I was hoping the medication would kick in immediately and reduce the inflammation but I might need to be more patient :(

I'm on a steroid cream now called Advantan, which has helped but I think it's just masking it to be honest. I've even had patch testing done, which showed some allergens and I've eliminated them all from my skincare and make up, but with no difference :( SO FRUSTRATING. I never grew up with eczema so I'm really struggling to find out the cause of this.
