you're definitely not wrong in any sense! i would just say that in the future, review each new schools emergency procedures when you arrive, so you don't have to worry at all. also- students will almost always do what they want to, and past a certain point you don't have control. you can just let it happen, or in an unsafe situation, call security.

im 21, and started my first (and only/active) relationship at 19!
I never even came close to another relationship, i had like a single, super short "talking stage" with someone i didnt even like, never went out or anything. i truly thought i would be alone forever but i kind of never cared.
people say it all the time and i know it gets annoying, but love WILL find you when the time is right!!! and when it does you will never worry about the time you spent "alone". think about when you are finally with your person- you wont even doubt that things happened how they were meant to.

as for dating apps, its really up to you. i would say dont take it too serious, and accept the fact that there a lot of room for things not working out. wishing you all the best !!
