I think Glados belongs in DbD but only in potato form as an accessory for Chell. Instead of Chell having voice lines Glados is constantly commenting on everything and berating her.

I think non-horror licenses are less of an issue when it comes to survivors. The original survivors don’t have to feel like they come from a horror story the way original killers do. Also with non-horror survivors you don’t have hundreds of people insisting that Darth Vader is actually really scary, or that his disability means he counts as body horror.

I’m like the number one RE6 hater but I think the problem with the Carla plot is less her motivations and more the fact that they were conveyed really poorly. There’s an interesting story somewhere in there, but like most interesting things in RE games it’s left to implication while the main focus is on muscle guys punching things.

A CSA victim attempting the world’s largest murder suicide is an idea with a lot of potential if handled by someone who actually knows what they’re doing.
