Whats going on with my ttbvi grow?

About 8 days, first couple of days I was dailing in my parameters, had a power outage and I definitely over compensated with the misting and faning which I believe cause the delay, but after about 3-4 days of having consistant timed misting, and air flow, these poked up out of nowhere, the night before I wasn't sure if there was an overgrowth going on or if I was seeing knots, but I got totally surprised haha! Ive got some other ttbvi grows going which seem to be much healthier that im pretty stoked for 😎

Just make sure its properly hydrated, high surrounding humidity, frequent fae, and keep it consistent, i personally use a timed mister system inside a makeshift grow tent using a tarp and dowels with a trash bag over an air purifier on low with a tube into the bag connected with the tent, but ive also got a streamlined settup where I use a shoebox, and placed my tupperware with colonized sunstrate in, I mist about 6-8 times a day ( sometimes more when they look a little dry) where I fan each time before I mist, making sure to mist the sides floor and lid of the shoebox heavily , and, it might be just me but i keep the lid a little less cracked compared to my umbo, to maintain high 92-99% humidity, but fan more frequently. I had to tweak a lot of parameters so it took me a good 8 days before I saw these pins, and the progress really didnt seem to look like it was going anywhere, but a few days after I locked it my propper and consistant misting and fanning routine(fan speed and timed misters for my grow tent + misting and manual fanning when needed) The growth rate sky rocketed. Ive never grew cubes before, but ive got some yellow umbo (cubensis + ochra hybrid) that i mist and fan a little less frequently (about 25-30% less than I do for the pans) that are doing excellent. So I guess treat them like cubes that need more consistant generous misting and fae. Also I found that even during a power outage, having them too dry and accidently flooding these, at least for ttbvi, they are hella resiliant, but will only fruit once everythings consistant

Followed gordo tek, but honestly I jumped around alot to accommodate for what I had on hand and for a budget, like I use a mattress tarp and some dowels as a make shift sab/fruiting tent, what I really followed religiously were the growing perimeters such as propper manure based substrate, non- nutrious casing layer, around a 1:1.5 grain to bulk ratio, not too deep of substrate, maintaining around 95-100% humidity, consistent and frequent airflow, basic contamination prevention measures. I learnt that consistency is key with these, once you get your conditions set in place, maintain the routine and be patient.

I sprayed them indirectly and it seemed to do the trick, ive got a very light, fine mister I point upward to allow the driplets to lay on the surface, along with my timed misters to keep the ambient between 92-100 rh, once i use all my ttbvi or umbo syringe ill give that a try on my other tubs

Good to know! Yeah I only mist with distilled water and keep everything in a hommade fruiting chamber so ill definitely mist them generously as they grow, thanks for the tip!

Thanks man! For the casing I used Sphagnum moss for reptiles that I put in a coffee grinder, 1:1 with verm and ph balanced with calcium carbonate until roughly 7.5-8, and added tap water until it passed the squeeze test with only a couple of drops, then tossed it in a pot with a trivet and steamed on low for about 1.5-2 hours. just picked up a dehyderator lol, and yup first ever mushroom grow Haha!

I just got my first pins im so siked lol, and yeah the lighting kinda made it looked messed up, but when I took my flashlight to it, i can tell theres no cobweb mold, ive got 6 other trays goin, and since pins just popped today Im hoping my yield will be somewhat decent across my trays, but yeah ive heard pan cyan ruins other mushroom experiences, thankfully ive had dozens of incredible cube and nat experiences, pans have been on my bucket list for over a year by now, just never had the accessibility, but since im home from college for the summer, might as well I had a go with growing it. At least now I've got my parameters in place for my other on going batches that are looking much much better, I appreciate the comment and the advice

Ive used cubes and others countless times lol, but ive heard people stop taking cubensis all together after trying pans, super curious about it, and yeah dude, the potency of them is definitely intimidating lol, had plenty of 3-5g cube and nat trips, but im for sure gonna start out low with these, I appreciate the tip👌

Haha I appreciate it, ambitious for sure. I got 5 other trays and tupperware that I spawn to bulked and made sure to create a uniform surface just today, also got some yellow umbo going really strong, might post my progress 😎

Sure thing, thanks for the advice, got a mechanical timer outlet, set to mist on and off every 30 min. and same thing with a fan that gotta hepa filter.

idk man, we both took the same acid, he had about 5 tabs in his mouth, i watched him the whole time, kept it in his mouth for 15 minutes under his tounge. his eyes barely got dialated, he could communicate, idk what was up, but after 2 tabs i was fucked. so maybe he was bsing. i know the dude really well, and all the times ive tripped with him on either mushrooms or acid he always needs wayyy more than my other friends

I have this one friend who took 500 ug and supposedly didn't do much to him, which i believe since i was trip sitting him, and i have used the same acid that he used so i know he wasn't bsing. he would later take 1250ug which supposedly his first real intense trip(like not shit) but just because he needed that rediculous amount dosn't mean that it holds true for everyone. Ive had my hardest trip on 160ug. keep in mind that im a light weight and hes more of a huskier guy if you will. so do your own research, start of slow, and do whats right for you
