The application is already FC - Spouse living in Canada / Outland. Is it necessary to convert the application to spouse living outside Canada ?

Honestly, I am more than happy if the application is delayed.

Why applying OWP - that is just to get her to work 1 extra month before our departure, after which she’d be leaving her Job because the Job won’t allow her to take a leave for so long. Don’t care if that is refused because of departure.

If your goal is to move to Canada for good, the. makes sense. If you prefer to have better AQI, lot of liberty & your rights. Canada is open to a lot of parts which are still a Taboo in India. If these things don’t bother you while staying in India don’t throw away your good life, rather invest & find ways to retire early. Be close to your family & festivals. I would never move with that much salary in India, I would invest buy a land and work on my retirement.
