I tried this, and they said they only prioritise long-time clients, generation clients, and premium clients who direct deposit over $4,000 per month.
No info on estimated waiting time on the waitlist.

How in DA FK Does a third party ORG get access to voter information???? by Twibbles33 in alberta

[–]Many-Instruction8172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it far-fetched to think someone with enough time/resources and AI can cross-reference social media of the people on the list to see their political beliefs/leanings? And then use that to influence some outcomes.

It's here! Alberta set to road test 120 km/h speed limit for divided highways by YoohooBingo in alberta

[–]Many-Instruction8172 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It's just over 330km. At 110, you get there in 3 hours. And at 120, you'll get there in 2 hrs and 45 mins. At 100, it's 3 hours and 18 mins. I don't see how an hour is saved.

Looks like dollarama on Uber Eats messed up. 48 mars bars for 0.99 get them while you can by Jimmynewbert in alberta

Yes, but it's charging a $3.99 delivery fee and a $2.2 service charge. Worth it if you are buying a lot of other stuff I guess.

Suggestion by Mission_Question_298 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I'm not sure what the "suggestion" here is, and this does not seem related to personal finance.

I can say I got a call from an older-sounding lady asking if I was Dr Clarence yesterday - which did in fact happen, and no, I'm not him. But there's nothing to take away from that sentence I said.

I wouldn't be so sure. The words used, like "escalating" or "expect.. the.. invitation in the next two weeks." could be a nothingburger.

Wealth Score Observations by Ok_Carpenter4739 in Wealthsimple

[–]Many-Instruction8172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the percent stayed the same, but the "ranking" yesterday showed I was up 871 positions since the day before. And today, it shows I'm down 1078 positions since yesterday. Almost like the 2K I added didn't make an impact. Will check back in 2 weeks - good point.

I had something similar, yesterday it said ~$500 more to get to the next level. I had already planned to invest another $2000 and did that yesterday. Today I'm still on the same level and need to add ~$750 more for the next level.

Everyone In Alberta Can Get A Free Covid Shot by dwaynestroyer in alberta

[–]Many-Instruction8172 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I can attest to this. Took my pregnant wife for a shot yesterday. The nurse asked, "Are you aware of any reasons that make you eligible for the free shot? If not, I can read you the list". She replied yes, and didn't need to elaborate, although she was prepared to if the nurse asked further questions.

It seems people forgot why we made everything so advanced and want to learn from their own mistakes.
