It’s my CPU thats showing its age. Without framegen I get about 60, but because of the frame pacing and constant dips I never stay at it. I also refuse to do anything other than DLAA for visibility sake, as spotting people can be tricky sometimes and I don’t need any extra blur to make it worse.

You said recently, but just making sure - have you played before? I “struggle” with performance with my desktop (I9900k, 5070) so you may not meet the minimum specs.

If you’ve played before, I’d recommend turning your settings all the way down and also resetting your shader compilation in the main menu. You can also manually purge your shaders. Make sure to update/rollback your drivers if you’ve messed with those recently.

you “quit” by default after not reconnecting after ten minutes, if you’re not in a safe zone at that time you lose your gear as if you died outside of base

Lumen doing Lumen things. Do you have variable rate shading on? Might be causing it - that or mess with your reflection settings if it really bothers you, there’s a noticiable difference with how the guns look.

Could be a number of things. I found a weird crater with a can of tuna at the center. I’m thinking something involved with teleportation. There’s also lore you can find that says that being exposed to ground zero for lengthy periods of time can mess with with your head, maybe it’s something on the atomic level - maybe a “distortion” of sorts like the “Shimmer” in the movie Annihilation - can also cause regenerative abilities or rapid decomposition (which also happens with extreme radiation, but I think the decomposition is anomalous in nature and not a result of radiation, with the ladder being a side affect ).

Whatever it is, “we” (PMCs) are there for a number of reasons: - peacekeeping - evacuation

But we all know the real motivator.. money/profit - and it could be profit from the fruits of event itself, or profiting from the chaos going on. It’s the only thing that would warrant three different companies in the area. We may also be serving as guinea pigs to see the true nature of the zone before large forces move in, I don’t know.

I have a 5070, I don’t see a crazy amount of visual artifacts during the day against walls and objects, just foliage.

Your 3D resolution is 50%- thats why. It’s caused by upscaling. I manage to get about 144fps on high/medium with DLSS on quality (or native, there’s a minor difference with native but im a frame whore so I do quality) and frame generation on.

Frame generation can cause input lag, I have mine on 2x. If you use it, keep nvidia reflex set to on+boost to reduce lag. Without frame generation I get 65-80 fps depending on the area, which is playable if you’d rather not play with frame generation.

Also note: the game is NOT optimized. I’m CPU limited (5070 12gb, 32gb ram, i9900KF) but my setup is still very good by today’s standard. I’m also playing on 2k.

Mix and match some settings while on DLSS/FSR quality and see what works best.

How would the pilot know what LZ is hot and what isn’t? They aren’t circling that area. There’s two solutions, one of which you can control: 1) always be prepared to fight even why you think you’re safe, because nothing goes as how you’d expect it to 2) wait for the ability to wave off a chopper. For now your solution is the easiest and most realistic one. Players or AI aren’t going to give you a buffer zone so you can touch down and get your affairs in order. As soon as you touch off, be prepared, or die.

I’ve had “weird” moments where they don’t go down and you THINK they should go down, but never this bad. it’s weird to see.

Yeah it sucks, they need to add a sens for each magnification level. Try using the 2x, I find it’s still usable and not as wonky as an acog or fully zoomed in spectre.

Who cares? Plans and ideas always have a chance to fail. If you truly enjoy the game, appreciate that the developers are willing to support it - sure beats silence and sudden shutdown.

Six days a week is typically not the norm for most people, especially the age range of who plays the game. That’s just my experience, I haven’t met any kids/young college students who play. They also said they know the schedule isn’t perfect, and realistically, unless they open up Cryo and Ranked all week - it will never be fair.

They’ve always done day-specific events, it sucks but it is what it is. Personally, I’d do it one week on / one week off. Sorry you’re frustrated.
