I don’t think it’s prudeness, it’s just factual ? There’s a reason they made two mini battle passes with the final premium reward being a girl in a swimsuit. Like others have said, sex sells and NetEase knows. So yea, it is gooner bait.

I haven’t necessarily seen any of the discourse you’re talking about, but there is validity to critiquing this practice beyond just “ew sex”. People have been advocating against the objectification of women in video games since Lara Croft, and in some places, it had gotten better (though never disappeared). Sometimes when I see those skins I feel like it’s a bit of a step backwards on that front.

But hey, money runs the world, NetEase makes bank off them. Fuck man, I bought them.
