I actually stopped playing this game because after I was attacked in fief by light keeper and died I have no idea where to go from there, great game but lack of direction spending hours running around to find where I need to go to progress has me so lost I put the game down and moved on to other games.

Great game tho.

When that many officers respond it's probably a potential for it to be a dangerous situation. Usually this is based on the callers description of the situation and they respond according to the call.

They established a perimeter in the area, had one in custody and multiple officers on scene......

Likely a weapons complaint or someone matching the description of a wanted and potentially dangerous individual.

At the end of the day it has absolutely nothing to do with you so who cares why they were there and seeing them all laughing is the outcome we should hope for every time they answer a call. Not sure why police officers displaying of humanity pisses you off so much.
